Story
Clementine has been through quite a few transitions over the past year. After arriving at a shelter down in Texas, she eventually made her way to Colorado through another rescue, and now has found herself here at HSBV! She is such a sweet pup and loves affection from the people she knows. Clementine can be a bit apprehensive around new people, so she will benefit from a gentle and patient adopter that supports her when she`s feeling overwhelmed. At this time, HSBV will only rehome Clementine to a family either without children or with children over the age of 10. We are also requiring she be the only animal in her next home.Clementine can be met with until 4:30pm so our Training & Behavior team can provide adoption counseling.

Story
Gotti is an absolute massive beautiful boy! He is so lovable and great with other dogs! He is very playful and loves to go on adventures. He wants to be with you all he time. He really is he perfect dog except he has an obsession with water lol. We did get bloodwork and tests done to make sure it wasn't anything medical but if you have the hose he wants to play with it, he loves the kid pools I set up and he will submerge his whole head! It's adorable except he is seriously unbelievably messy when drinking water in the house and he drinks a lot at his size, it gets everywhere! And the drool is insane. I mostly only rescue mastiffs and giant breeds so I'm not exaggerating, it's a lot of drool. He is great with all women and kids. Sometimes he warms up to men right away, sometimes he takes some time to get used to men. So he really probably needs to be adopted by a woman or couple. If your interested please tell me about yourself.

Story
Charlie and his siblings Dennis, Dee, and Mac have an always sunny disposition. They are spunky, happy friendly and curious. Their favorite past time is hanging out by one of the ponds. They don't quite swim yet but definitely love water. Great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. Love to cuddle. Do not love being a crate though. They will each make perfect family dogs or adventure buddies for a single person or couple. They are some of the best puppies I've ever met. They were surrendered to a small rural shelter as an accidental litter. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: lifetime free microchip, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, too young/small for neuter and heartworm test. Story
Mac and his siblings found themselves at a small rural shelter with no foot traffic so we got them out. Mac is curious and independent and loving and adventurous. He loves water and he spends most of his day exploring the woods and ponds on the property. He is super smart too. His siblings are all fluffier than he is and look more shepherd like than he does. He has more of a heeler look in terms of coloring and shape but based on their sizes and their growth since I got them, I believe they will be big dogs. Big, happy, friendly, loving dogs. He is about 4 months old. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below.
