Story
Chief was adopted late 2024, after being surrendered at six months old for growing too large for apartment living. He came from a home with small children/cats and was shy and sweet, having spent much of his early life crated. What I found was one of the most loving, loyal, and joyful dogs I’ve ever known. Chief is truly everyone’s friend, dogs, cats, kids, adults, big or small. He loves the dog park, daycare, and making new friends wherever he goes. He’s well known by his vet, daycare staff, and dog park regulars for brightening everyone’s day. He has basic training(sit, stay, shake, lay down) is crate, kennel, and house trained, and can walk off leash, though he does want to greet everyone. He’s gentle taking treats, quiet in the home, and only barks when someone rings the doorbell. Chief does best with 1–1.5 hours of daily exercise and lots of affection. He would thrive with an active individual/family with older children and would love a canine companion, though he’s great alone

Story
Meet Poppy, the playful and energetic Cane Corso mix puppy. This sweet girl may be small in size, but she has a big personality that will steal your heart in an instant. Poppy loves spending time with humans and other dogs. At just under 1 year old, Poppy is still a puppy and has all the irresistible qualities that come with it. Despite her young age, she is already proving to be well-behaved and easy to train. With her good-with-dogs trait, Poppy is the perfect addition to any family with existing furry friends. Don't be fooled by her medium size, Poppy is a fearless and confident dog. With proper training and socialization, she will be a devoted companion to her human family. Whether it's a long walk or a game of fetch in the park, Poppy is always ready for some fun and adventure. In conclusion, Poppy is not just your average dog, she is a Cane Corso with a charming personality and an unmatched loyalty to her loved ones. With her good-natured and sociable demeanor, she is sure to bring endless love and joy to any household she becomes a part of. Sadly while at CSU to be spayed, she was diagnosed with subaortic stenosis. She is a moderate case, they suggested to redo eco in 6 months, but no meds are needed yet. Are you ready to welcome Poppy into your family and make her your new special furry best friend?

Story
Please Read entire post before contacting: Zarro (Black, intact, ICCF, dob: 6/18/20) Zarro is from BR, LA. I bought him at 8 weeks old. He is amazing with people and kids of all ages including babies, He is good one on one with dogs But needs to be fixed as he will try to mount any dog. I’ve trained him since the moment I got him and knows a lot of commands but temperament wise he is very hard headed. He needs a strong leader to correct him. He has never been destructive a day in his life. He will never use the bathroom in the house. Zarro has a very strict diet as he is allergic to ALOT of foods and ingredients in dog food. He absolutely cannot have dog food. he is on a raw diet which contains turkey, pork, and beef products. His Food costs come out to be around 300-400$ a month, so please take this into consideration. He is on daily meds as well right now for the next month along with exercise restriction due to finishing up heart worm treatment

These pups are in Fort Lupton, Colorado too!

Story
Charlie and his siblings Dennis, Dee, and Mac have an always sunny disposition. They are spunky, happy friendly and curious. Their favorite past time is hanging out by one of the ponds. They don't quite swim yet but definitely love water. Great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. Love to cuddle. Do not love being a crate though. They will each make perfect family dogs or adventure buddies for a single person or couple. They are some of the best puppies I've ever met. They were surrendered to a small rural shelter as an accidental litter. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: lifetime free microchip, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, too young/small for neuter and heartworm test. Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Mac and his siblings found themselves at a small rural shelter with no foot traffic so we got them out. Mac is curious and independent and loving and adventurous. He loves water and he spends most of his day exploring the woods and ponds on the property. He is super smart too. His siblings are all fluffier than he is and look more shepherd like than he does. He has more of a heeler look in terms of coloring and shape but based on their sizes and their growth since I got them, I believe they will be big dogs. Big, happy, friendly, loving dogs. He is about 4 months old. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below.
