Found dumped in a park with a harness embedded in her and two torn ACL’s, we can’t blame you Graceson for not liking most people. This beautiful girl loves to love, if you are in her circle you are in!! As if she didn’t already draw the short straw in life, Grace has some neurological issues. Her brain (more specifically cerebellum) isn’t fully grown and never will be, so please excuse her goofy gallop and gait walk. That doesn’t stop Grace from being the happy go lucky free spirit she is! Don’t worry her friends at MHS along with her medical team are keeping a close eye on her and though she may look like she’s struggling, Grace is living her best life and not in any pain! Grace is available for adoption at the Meriden Humane Society. She takes time to warm up and bond and picks and chooses her friends carefully, but her whole demeanor changes meeting men and she is ready to leave us behind and jump in a truck with just about any guy she meets. Xena needs to be the only dog in an adult home that understands corso's and their protective and selective nature. Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Stevie Nicks was found as a stray outside of a local Starbucks (we heard she was trying to get her own pup-cup). She is estimated to be around 3.5 years old, and is 62 pounds of pure love. Stevie Nicks is playful with rope toys, and can get a little mouthy when over stimulated. Our trainers here are recommending she is the only animal in the home, as she is unsure, and uncomfortable with other dogs. Stevie is a playful, energetic pup that will benefit from having a routine with her new family, and further training upon leaving the shelter.
