This beautiful Cane Corso has the most loving, gentle personality and is happiest when she’s with her people. Nova is 10 months old and weighs 75 pounds. She is kennel trained, knows her “sit” and “down” commands, and does wonderfully on and off leash. She minds well, listens to direction, and is eager to please. But what really makes Nova special is her loving personality—she’s the kind of dog who makes you feel like her favorite person from the moment you meet her. Nova is good around other dogs, cats, and children. We bought Stella thinking she was going to be our last baby. But surprise surprise our daughter was born end of last year. Stella is still not completely house trained and our baby is crawling around everywhere now. Stella will be two October 12th. But with work and the baby we cannot give Stella all the attention she requires. She really is great with kids, but she needs a lot of work with training.

We believe Baloo is between 4-5 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found wandering the streets alone very late at night. Baloo is a big hunk of a dog who is a mush ball when he knows you! He sits politely for a treat and he is quite gentle when taking them. He likes to get attention and loves a nice butt scratch or head pat. Baloo likes to follow us around our backyard and he comes to us when we call for him. He is a good eater, but he can be quite the drooly boy! We would prefer Baloo goes to a home that has experience with Cane Corsos or other Mastiff type breeds. He seems fine with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 12 years old and older who have experience with large dogs. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. .
