Bailey (3 yrs old) came from my partner who is no longer living at the home. I have another girl and a boy who are very young and she continues to pick at the other girl. I’ve been trying to keep her the past three months and it hasn’t been the best experience and they are too big for me. I can only handle one girl. Bailey is a sweetheart, but she wants all the attention and when I give the others any she doesn’t like to share. She is definitely a great protector and barks when someone is outside. I just can’t handle her by myself.

Rocco is sweet and energetic. We do not have a fence or a garage to properly engage with his energy. He is 10 months old and thinks he is a baby even though he is a big dog. He wants to wonder around and follow his owner. He likes to lay with you and have some sort of contact. He was great with our 3 year old but he gets excited and jumps some. We have a one story home and just want him to have a wonderful home with people who can be attentive with him which is why we are not charging an adoption fee. We love him but want him to have a better life!

Hes a sweet&#44 affectionate boy who loves leaning in for cuddles and sitting at your feet once he has a moment to settle in. While the shelter environment can make him a little nervous-especially around loud sounds or sudden movements-Eugene blossoms with gentle handling and calm reassurance. He walks well on leash with a bit of encouragement and has enjoyed playful&#44 positive time in dog playgroup&#44 often gaining confidence from being around other dogs. In the play yard&#44 hes all about love-hopping up for hugs&#44 giving kisses&#44 and quietly soaking up attention. Likely house-trained and very people-focused&#44 Eugene is ready for a home where he can feel safe&#44 loved&#44 and free to show his soft&#44 goofy side.

He is the kind of dog who loves everyone, but will form even stronger bonds with his family. Titan has it all - friendly, easy going, super lovable, fun, and playful with dogs in adjacent pens. He likes to stay close while with you, and leans in for pets, as if to give back the love he is receiving. This boy is clearly happiest when he’s with people! Plus who can resist his adorable full-circle tail curl that Titan shows when he’s happy?! And why resist? Come meet this wonderful boy in person, and you’ll see why he has quickly become a staff favorite! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
