Story
He is neutered, healthy, and well-trained. He is a loyal, protective, and affectionate dog who bonds closely with his people. He does well with adults and older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space. Unfortunately, he is not comfortable around young children, especially those who don’t understand boundaries. Because of this, we feel it’s safest and fairest for him to be placed in a home with no small children or with kids old enough to interact calmly and appropriately. He currently lives with another dog, but has no other socialization,so an only-dog home is strongly preferred to ensure the best transition and success for everyone involved. About him: • 6 years old • Male, neutered • Cane Corso • Loyal, protective, and loving • Does best in a calm, structured home • Needs a confident owner familiar with large or guardian breed We want him to thrive in a home where his needs and boundaries are fully respected.

Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. She is an affectionate girl. She really is the perfect dog. She is protective and likes to be vocal out the windows to the neighbors walking by. She loves to lay on the couch with us and chill. She loves giving kisses and having her belly rubbed. She does go a little nutty when seeing lights on the walls and ceilings. She is a big girl who still acts like a puppy sometimes. She has never had an accident in the house. She will let you know when she needs to go. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her and we are not taking this well at all. She is our family and I only hope someone will want to give her an opportunity to be family to them. She has been soooooo loved. I hope to find a home to do the same.

Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. Feona- high energy, very sweet and listens well. She likes being around Junior. Junior- sweet boy, very quiet and only barks when alerted at night, loves being outside, he doesn’t bark for bathroom time or really ever, he must have a good schedule so there aren’t accidents. Junior does tend to get seasonal allergy and is food sensitive. Both dogs are good eaters and generally do best on meat/veggie diet (raw) diet. They eat chicken, beef, organ meat, veggies, bone broth, they really aren’t picky at all and will eat most things. However again, Junior can get runs easily or break out of the kibble is highly processed. I found the brother and sister duo to do best without any outside dogs or neighbors with animals. They just prefer their own space. Neither dog is fixed and will need to be fixed and updated on shots including rabies. They are two years younger in photos however they aren’t much bigger than what is shown.

Story
Drake is one of 14 puppies that was born to our Cane Corso. He is a year and a half old purebred Cane Corso that is unaltered. Unfortunately, my situation has changed and I'm no longer able to care for him the way that he deserves and needs to be. Drake is a very loving and loyal dog that loves to run and play. He is active so having space would be helpful in owning this dog. He gets along great with people and other dogs. He'd be a great addition to the family!

Story
Hi, I’m Bunny and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Bunny Location: Portland, MI Date of Birth: 6/10/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 75 Gets along with: Dogs?: Alll dogs Cats?:  Yes Kids?: Yes Training: Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty (is a puppy, expect accidents) Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Bunny  Bunny is an 11-month-old Cane Corso puppy with a giant personality packed into what her foster lovingly calls a “pocket Corso.” At around 75 pounds, Bunny is still very much a puppy — full of happy energy, goofy moments, and endless love for everyone she meets. This girl absolutely adores other dogs and would happily spend her days wrestling, romping, and making new friends. She has also done well with dog-savvy cats and kids. After she’s done playing, Bunny is more than ready to curl up close to her people for a long nap — preferably in bed with you if she gets the choice! Bunny is still learning the ropes and will need continued consistency with potty training, leash skills, and crate training. When she first comes out of her crate, her excitement can get the best of her and she may jump up a few times before settling and remembering her manners. She’s young, bright, eager to connect with her people, and would thrive with continued guidance and structure. She rides well in the car, settles in quickly, and has the kind of joyful spirit that makes people fall in love fast. Bunny would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a social, affectionate, playful young dog to grow with. Bunny is being fostered in Portland, Michigan and is ready to find a forever family who will embrace both her puppy chaos and her giant heart. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online.
