Tobias (Toby) - Male Cane Corso Age: 6 years Good with: Cats: Unknown Dogs: Yes, with a slow intro Kids: Possibly good with respectful children Location: Barnhart, MO Weight: 120 lbs Toby came to us from a cruelty case. He is the sweetest old man. He loves to just sit by you and get pets. He does fine being left alone, but prefers to be with people. He has met the neighbor dog through the fence, but has mostly ignored him. He has done fantastic with all the people he has met. He loves the car, and every time we go outside he runs to the gate hoping for a car ride. He is very chill but does throw his weight around when he wants attention The perfect adopter is patient and kind. Toby will need lots of reassurance to regain his confidence and to know that he is safe. His perfect adopter would be someone that can be home and with him most of the time. He seems to be ok with other dogs, but doesn't need a home with one. He is not big long periods outside, so would be happy with a daily walk. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, the dog is considered available for adoption.  Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Please check back to learn more about me once I settle into my foster home.  Gracie gets along with:Dogs?: All Dogs Needs a slow introduction to other dogsCats?: UnknownKids?: Have not tested yet Gracie had an unfortunate start to her life and only knew of a life in a kennel for breeding. Gracie isanyone's little shadow and prefers to be with her person at all times. She does however forget personal space and wants to be on top of her person all the time, she's quite the cuddle bug. Gracie immediately was comfortable with my passive male great dane and often wants to lay by him, she is still working on trusting my female daniff puppy, but does love to play with her. She has shown some occasional signs of resource guarding, but is improving everyday as she learns to trust her foster siblings.Gracie's perfect family? Gracie's perfect adopter would be someone who can have patience with her as she learns basic commands and has familiarity with the breed. If Gracie is to be adopted in a home with other dogs, she will need slow introductions. At this time she does not require a fenced yard as she comes when called.
