*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Murphy is a young adult with a heart full of love—he just takes a little time to show it. Found as a stray, Murphy is still learning what it means to be a dog and would love a patient, kind person to help him discover how wonderful life can be. He may be cautious at first, but once he feels safe and trusts you, he transforms into the most loyal, playful, and affectionate friend you could ask for. He loves to play, enjoys cuddle time, and is eager to form a deep bond with someone special. Murphy would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who can offer patience and encouragement as he continues to build confidence. He loves other dogs and would thrive in a home where he can socialize with another playful canine companion. If there aren’t other playful dogs in the home, Murphy would be just as happy with regular doggy playdates with other friendly pups who can match his energy! If you’re ready to guide him on his journey and gain a devoted best friend in return, Murphy is waiting to meet you! **We did a DNA test on Murphy and he is a mix of Neapolitan Mastiff, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, Rottweiler, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier... what a handsome mutt!

Story
Dylan is still building her confidence and would benefit from continued socialization to help her learn that not everyone and everything in the world is big and scary. With patience, positive reinforcement, and clear boundaries, Dylan has so much potential to grow into a well-balanced dog. At heart, Dylan is a big lover. She adores affection, loves being loved, and gives that love right back. She is incredibly sweet and very playful, enjoying both engagement and quality time with her people. Once she feels safe and supported, her gentle, affectionate nature truly shines. Dylan is looking for an experienced, dedicated home that understands the Cane Corso breed and is willing to help her build confidence while meeting her energetic and emotional needs. In return, she will offer loyalty, playfulness, and a whole lot of love.

Story
Hi, I’m Katerina and I'm ready to find my forever home.   Dog’s Name: Katerina Location: Ft. Atkinson, WI Date of Birth: 05/01/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 80 Gets along with: Dogs?: Needs slow introduction Cats?:  Needs slow introduction Kids?:  All kids Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Katerina, now known as Chloe, is an 8-month-old Cane Corso with a classic puppy spirit—big energy, a bold personality, and a whole lot of love to give. She’s already quite tall and still growing, so she’s going to be a big, powerful girl who will need continued structure, supervision, and consistent training to help her grow into a well-mannered adult. Like many puppies, Chloe gets excited and may jump, but the good news is she’s very responsive and listens immediately to a clear, timely “no.” She’s smart, curious, and always looking to learn—sometimes a little too curious, especially when it comes to unattended countertops! With guidance and consistency, she’s eager to please and quick to catch on. Chloe is also quite the athlete and an experienced escape artist. She can jump baby gates and lower fences, so a securely fenced yard and close supervision are a must. In her foster home, she lives comfortably with a 6-foot fence, which she has not attempted to jump. Her future family should be mindful of her strength and agility and ensure all barriers are sturdy and secure. She is crate-trained for bedtime and when her foster mom is away. She may need a few treats to encourage her to go in, but once settled—especially with the TV softly playing—she relaxes well. Chloe does require a heavy-duty kennel, as she can bend standard foldable crates.  While she doesn’t chew household items, she will try to pull anything within reach into her crate. When she’s not roughhousing, Chloe is a total sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and enjoys being close to her people and her canine companions. She adores tug-of-war and wrestling and would do well with a playful dog who can match her energy or a calm, laid-back dog who prefers to nap. Chloe is respectful of calmer dogs and happily adjusts her behavior, choosing to cuddle when that’s what they prefer. She currently lives with both types of foster siblings and adapts beautifully to each. Like many puppies, Chloe highly values her food, treats, and bones. She would do best enjoying these in a private space away from other animals to prevent any potential issues. She has never shown aggression toward people and has tremendous potential to become a loyal, loving companion in the right home. Chloe will thrive with an adopter who understands large-breed puppies and is committed to ongoing training, structure, and supervision. While she could be a good fit for a first-time giant-breed owner, it’s important that her adopter is willing to learn, stay consistent, and invest time into proper training and management. A securely fenced yard is strongly recommended, and a home that can provide both physical outlets and affectionate downtime will help her shine. With guidance, patience, and love, Chloe has all the makings of an incredible companion—devoted, affectionate, and full of personality. Hi, I’m Iggy and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Iggy Location: Plano, IL Date of Birth: 5/1/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: Approximately 100 Gets along with: Dogs?: Yes Cats?:  Unknown Kids?:  Yes, older kids Training: Leash trained: Were working on it Crate/Kennel: Were working on it Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car: Rides well in car Meet Iggy! Iggy is a happy, energetic boy who’s right in the middle of learning what it means to be a well-mannered house dog. He listens very well and truly thrives with consistency and guidance. The former stray puppy in him is discovering life’s comforts — like how to play gently and that dog beds are for lounging (even though he still sometimes prefers a cool floor over blankets!). Iggy loves everyone, especially other dogs, and would happily try to make friends with every pup he sees. He balances bursts of playful energy with solid nap time, making him a fun yet manageable companion. He has good recall, is improving his leash manners, and is working through his excitement during walks. During the workday, Iggy does great being left in a room on his own — he does not chew or destroy items, which is a huge win for a young, active dog in training. Iggy would do best with an active family who can help him burn off energy and continue his training. Due to his size and enthusiastic jumping, a home with older children is recommended. He would absolutely love having another dog to romp and play with, though an active household committed to daily exercise would also be a great fit. A fenced yard would be a big bonus but isn’t required with proper exercise and structure. Iggy is a joyful, eager-to-learn boy who’s ready to grow into an amazing companion with the right family by his side Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption.
