Story
Harry is a big, lovable derpy dog who loves everyone he meets. Harry is about 85% potty trained and he’s 100% lapdog. He doesn't know how big he is, and wears his love on the outside. He is certainly a very happy dog if he has room to move. No fault of his own, Harry has been bounced around from home to home and did a couple tours of the city shelter when we stepped in and decided to give him a chance. Harry has had very little structure in his young life and he most likely missed the window of development when dogs learn to read other dogs. So, while he absolutely loves other dogs, he has no idea how to read body language. Because of this, Harry will need slow introductions and a tolerant dog friend to set him up for success when meeting other dogs. Harry has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he gets to go most places with his people or his people are home a lot. Harry also has no idea that he’s an 95 lb dog with more weight to put on. Because of Harry's large size and inability to read personal space, he would do better with a stronger person of stature. Harry thinks he is still a puppy and can easily be unpredictable with his joy. He's basically a lovable-wrecking ball in dog form. Harry has the stubbornness of a mastiff. If he doesn't want to do something he either plays "catch the mastiff" or "dead mastiff." Both can be frustrating, but also funny if you like that kind of thing. Most of what Harry is trying to avoid is being alone. You absolutely will not find a dog with a bigger heart than Harry. But I’m not gonna lie, he is A LOT. He’s got some baggage from being bounced around. He needs structure, patience, and time. And, of course, lots of love. Are you Harry’s person? Fill out an adoption application on our website, Sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org and we will set up a time to talk about him! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy

Story
Hi! I'm Lemon. I’m a sweet and sensitive girl with a playful, excitable side! I can be a little unsure in new situations at first, but once I start to feel comfortable, my fun personality really shines through. I just need a little time and encouragement to show you my best self. I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to things like leash walking and basic training, so I’ll need a family who’s ready to guide me and help me build good habits. I’ve got lots of potential and energy, and with some consistency (and maybe a few treats!), I’ll catch on in no time. I’d love a home that can help me grow my confidence while also giving me plenty of chances to play, explore, and be my happy, bouncy self. If you’re looking for a loving pup who’s equal parts sweet and spirited, I might be the perfect Lemon for you

Bruce is in need of a good home. I have become busy with work and traveling don't get to much time with him. He has been a good dog for the most part. He needs more attention and a big yard to run and play.

Story
Dallas is a 4-year-old Cane Corso mix, born on October 3rd. He was born from our dog, Dior, and has been with our family since birth. He is a big, lovable baby with lots of energy and a sweet personality. He is house trained, crate trained, up to date on his shots, and knows basic commands. He is good with strangers, good with kids, and has never bitten anyone. He does bark at times, especially when people are passing by or first arriving, but he is not aggressive toward people.Dallas can do well with other pets if introduced slowly and properly. He would do best in a home with plenty of space to run and an owner who can give him structure, consistency, and love. He is also scared of thunder and lightning and does best with reassurance during storms. He loves to be rubbed and enjoys attention. This is not an easy decision for our family, and we want to make sure Dallas goes to a safe and loving home that can give him the care, attention, and space he needs.
