Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
William is 1 1/2 years old. He is kennel trained and house trained. William loves to play, run and be a mischievous little boy. Due to some major life events William had to go live w/ my elderly father. My dad is unable to care for him due to health issues now. I am not able to take William due to my living situation and I'm unsure when that will change. I had the best of intentions for him and I NEVER saw this coming. Honestly I hate it. However I'm trying to put Williams needs first and that is rehoming him with someone who can give him the time he needs to be the best-est boy. I do think a household that has no children and no other dogs would be best. I will give the kennel that he has now to whom ever adopts him. He is a guardian breed and would do well with someone who has experience with a Cane Corso.

Good With Kids: Yes, 8 and up. Good With Other Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Tested, but has not lived with cats. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes House Manners: Good Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes, Tess is an easy walker Knows Basic Commands: Sit Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High):Couch Potato to Moderate Special Needs: None Physical Fence: Preferred / No Invisible Fences Nickname: Dutchess Favorite game: Fetch Arrival story: Spent a long stint at the Saginaw County Animal Shelter. Approximate age / Weight: 10-years-old and 66 lbs. Personality: The Duchess has arrived. The Duchess of Waggin’ Tails that is! Ruler of the foster dog kingdom or errr… her foster home. Tess is a spunky lady, who loves to snuggle, go for walks, play with her tiny toys and zoomie around the yard. Queen Tess is a pretty easy-going lady and loves to just hang out with her people on her throne (couch) after taking you on a parade around her kingdom (neighborhood). She knows sit, and has more of a refined palate and leans into being more of a meat and potato type of girl. Tess is kind to all her subjects (cat and dog-tested). She is nervous around new people, so a slow introduction with lots of treats is the way to this queen’s heart. New Home: She likes to hang out with her people and is a great daily walking buddy. Would be happy living with other animals, but would also be happy to eat up all the attention she truly deserve as the only Queen in your home. Are you willing to roll out the red carpet for her? Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. Story
Gallagher will be 3 in June. He has had cherry eye, in both eyes, and the vet removed both from his eyes. He enjoys going for walks and getting treats on his walk. He is a very good walker. I'm hoping someone who can spend more time with him and train him more than the training he has had. He is a velcro dog. I do have another dog in the house and at feeding time I do feed them in separate rooms and remove dishes before letting them both come out. I had my daughters cat for a while with him and they did like a cat and dog will do, no fights, but playing. I'm hoping he can get a fenced in yard so he can run when he's out and someone who will take the time to work with him. I no longer have the time to spend with him due to work and I feel bad leaving him home alone a lot, he deserves more. He rides in the car, with the back seats down and the side windows halfway so he can hang out the window. He has a crate, but I leave him out.

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application (DOG:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=44, CAT: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=41, EXOTICS: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=46) completely. Story
This brave momma found herself at animal control, heavily pregnant and in desperate need of a miracle. Just two days later, she gave birth to her puppies, and that's when 𝑺𝑨𝑽𝒆𝑫 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒆 answered the call. Animal control is no place for newborns, so we quickly scooped up Lolli and her little ones.🐶 Lolli gave birth to eight beautiful puppies, but sadly, not all survived. We lost sweet Twix that night, and little Clark passed away a week later. 💔🌈 Once Lolli settled into her foster home, it became clear something wasn’t right. She seemed unwell, and two emergency vet visits revealed the cause: a severe uterine infection that required spaying sooner rather than later. However, she also had a serious case of pneumonia, which had to be treated before she could safely undergo surgery. With antibiotics and the incredible care of her foster family, Lolli fought through every challenge. 💪🐾 Today, Lolli is the picture of resilience. Despite everything she’s been through, she has the sweetest, most gentle personality and adores her babies. She craves love and attention and gives it right back tenfold. 🥰🐕 Lolli is ready for her forever home and would thrive as part of a family that cherishes her as much as she deserves. https://airtable.com/appRel0u6Xk5zFI8e/shrgRzyCwZOVjZUxp
