Age: 8 years old Weight: 120 lbs Dog friendly: Needs slow intros to some dogs Cat friendly: Yes, dog savvy cats are best Kid friendly: Yes, age 15+ is idea due to size Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Does well free roam Adoption fee: $225 Hey you… yeah, you 💜 I might be your girl. Meet Kui—an 8-year-old, 120 lb sweetheart looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. This could be a hospice situation… or it might not. We just don’t know yet. What we do know is she deserves a soft place to land. You’ll get a big, loving shadow who adores belly rubs, couch cuddles, and a little morning play before settling in for a solid nap 😆 She’s potty trained, free-roam trustworthy, not destructive, and low exercise. She does well on a gentle leader and is working hard on ignoring squirrels. A single-level home would be best (stairs aren’t her thing), and kiddos 15+ are ideal. She can be your one-and-only or coexist with others with slow intros, and she’s respectful with dog-savvy cats. If you’ve got a big heart and a little extra space, she’s ready to fill it.

🐾 Bella – 4.5 Year Old Cane Corso Beauty 🐾 Meet Bella, a stunning 4.5 year old Cane Corso girl who is looking for her second chance at forever. Bella was originally adopted from our rescue as a puppy, but heartbreakingly, her owner recently passed away. Now she’s searching for the next chapter of her life. Could that be with you? Bella is everything you love about the breed. She is loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She has a playful side and enjoys spending time outside, but she’s just as happy being close to you soaking up attention. She truly bonds with her humans and will be a wonderful companion. She does great with other dogs in her foster home and has been good with kids and cats. Bella is well-rounded and has a sweet, gentle nature, especially for a dog her size. Because of her breed and size, Bella will need an experienced, breed-knowledgeable owner who understands the needs of a Cane Corso and can provide structure, leadership, and love. She will thrive in a home that appreciates her loyalty and continues to guide her. Bella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. She has already known love once. Let’s make sure she finds it again. ❤️ $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State (includes transport to your area) Bella does take a daily medication to help manage some arthritis, and she will come with a one-month supply to get you started. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Do you want to meet me? I will be at Chuck and Don's in Eden Prairie, 8022 Den Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for an Adoption Event on Saturday, May 2nd from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs. London is a lovely gentle giant with an even bigger heart. At 102 pounds, she is all about love, comfort, and keeping watch over her home. She spends her days lounging on a big dog bed, soaking up time outside in the yard, and proudly standing guard at the fence. London absolutely adores her people, happily flopping over for belly rubs and nudging your hand for more scratches. She is social, affectionate, and easy to love. London has done well with other dog-friendly dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion in her future home, but she also has plenty of love to give as the only dog as long as her people are home often. She is fully potty trained (outside only) and crates beautifully with no issues and she also knows commands like come, stay, crate/kennel, and outside. She loves bully sticks and other chews, which are some of her favorite ways to relax. London does like to bark at passing cars, but she is otherwise a sweet, steady girl who has no concerning reaction to people or other dogs. She recently did very well at the vet, and although she was muzzled for her exam due to hip discomfort, she handled it beautifully without any fuss. Because London has chronic hip dysplasia and significant joint issues, she will need lifelong pain management to keep her comfortable. She will also need a home with a fenced grass yard, since hard surfaces and long walks on cement are not ideal for her mobility. Even with those needs, London is a happy, loving, social dog who still has so much joy to give. London is the kind of dog who will fill your home with love, loyalty, and a calm, comforting presence. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
Cole is a loving, gentle giant born May 10, 2022, and part of our family since December 2022. He’s affectionate, loves cuddling and belly rubs, and is house-trained. Despite his size, he thinks he’s a lap dog and has a sweet, sometimes timid personality he even gets scared of cats and loud outdoor noises like fireworks. Cole does well with smaller dogs but needs to be in a home without other large dominant dogs. Unfortunately, ongoing conflict with our other dog has made it impossible to give both dogs the quality of life they deserve, which led to this very difficult decision. Cole has had professional training and support is available for transition. He is not neutered, has some allergies, and may occasionally mark indoors. He deserves a home that offers structure, patience, and love a place where he can truly thrive.
