You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All our Cane lovers come check out adoptable Enzo!  He was found near 8 mile in Detroit while hanging around a job site.  He is an active boy who LOVES to play catch.  He is great at the fetching part, he returns about 75% of the time, but he’s working on it!  We are still learning his personality, but he seems to be a confident boy who knows what he wants.  This fits the breed description and as such will ideally go to a home with Cane or Mastiff experience.  He likes people but barks at new people who come around his space, again, standard for the breed.  He has got along well with a few chill female pups hes met and would probably be good with a relaxed female sister.  No cats for this boy and kids above the age of 13.  If you are looking for a beautiful Cane with a great life ahead of him please apply to meet Enzo today!  His approximate birth date is March 2021.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 7:09 pm

We rescued him off the side of a highway interchange. Who knows how he got there, all we know is we have him now and he finally can get the live he deserves. He is still figuring out how to be a dog and is a little skiddish, but is getting better! He warms up to new people after a few minutes and loves it if someone he knows is there to reassure him. He has met some other dogs and seems very interested in interacting with them. He could go to a home with older kids, 13 and up, mostly because he's so big and doesn't know his own size haha. This handsome hunk is Hercules! Hercules was found as a cold, shivering, scared stray and was luckily brought to the safety of FDHS. To everyone's surprise, Hercules was never reclaimed by his humans leading us to believe he might have been abandoned. This big boy is now looking for a new home to call his own and someone to give all of his love to. He truly is a giant puppy. He's still uncertain with new people and situations but he turns into a complete goofball once he feels safe with you. With love, patience and a confidence booster- Hercules is really going to thrive. Due to his breed and temperament, we are looking for a home with breed or rescue dog experience.
