Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Roman! ❤️ Roman | 3 years old | 115 lbs | Cane Corso Meet Roman, a big handsome boy with an even bigger heart! ❤️ Born in December 2022, Roman is a 115-pound Cane Corso who absolutely LOVES his people. Roman is definitely an attached-at-the-hip kind of dog. If his people are around, he wants to be right there with them. He loves being included and is happiest when he can hang out with his favorite humans. He knows his sit and shake, and he is an absolute rockstar in the car. Roman can be a little shy when meeting new people and needs some time to warm up. Give him about 30 minutes, though, and you may find this giant boy trying to climb right into your lap! ❤️ Once he knows you, he is incredibly affectionate and loves being close. He is still working on a few things, too. Roman isn't a huge fan of the crate yet, but he's learning to accept it and making progress. He hasn't shown much interest in toys so far, and the hose is definitely on his “no thank you” list. Roman is looking for someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to feel comfortable, while appreciating all the love and loyalty he has to give. If you're looking for a big, goofy, affectionate shadow who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Roman might be your guy. Roman is available for adoption! Story
Hi my name is Vincent Van Dogge! I am a good boy/girl and I am looking for an active owner willing to offer training and exercise, but in return I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness. I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and tend to express this by reacting with barking and may be a bit too much for some families. I will need to continue my training and HSHV offers classes for dogs like me! Visit www.hshv.org for more information. I’m a fun-loving dog who loves to play chase, so a home with cats or other small animals including livestock like chickens wouldn’t be a good fit for my exuberant personality. I’m a high energy dog, I love to jump and play. My energy may not be suitable for young children. I can be selective when it comes to new friends, so I’d like to meet any potential dog siblings and human siblings before I go home.

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. Ruby needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! 🌸🍀 Meet Magnolia – A Gentle Soul in Bloom 🍀🌸 3 years old | 95 lbs | Calm, loving, and full of quiet beauty Like her namesake flower, Magnolia is soft, graceful, and quietly captivating. She’s a gentle girl with an old soul who finds joy in life’s simple moments. Sniffy walks, warm sunshine, and carrying her favorite stuffies like little treasures. Magnolia is low energy, house trained, and happiest in a peaceful home where she can fully relax, feel safe, and bloom at her own pace. 🌼 Why Magnolia is Pure Gold • Gentle, affectionate, and quiet • Great with respectful dogs and cats • Loves calm kids and kind humans • Excellent in the car and easygoing at home • Enjoys leisurely walks, outdoor exploring, and cozy lounging • Dog selective, but polite and social with the right matches • Thriving with her foster brother Wyatt—she truly blossoms with a canine companion by her side Having another friendly dog helps Magnolia feel more confident, safe, and engaged in her environment. 🌿 Care Note Magnolia has a small, manageable medical need—she may experience minor leaking after her morning potty break. She wears a diaper during that time and handles it like a champ 🌼 She is otherwise comfortable, dry, and doing well, and her care is being thoughtfully monitored by the rescue. 🌷 Her Perfect Home Magnolia would thrive in a patient, peaceful home with: • Another friendly dog • Calm, understanding humans • A cozy environment where she can feel secure and loved She isn’t demanding, just quietly wonderful.
