Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Tank This sweet, big baby wandered up to a house a couple months back, skin and bones, horrible skin, just in very bad shape all around. Thankfully, some kind folks agreed to foster him and he is doing much better now, although he still has some healing to do. He appears to be middle aged- maybe 5 or so. He is very friendly and sweet natured. He does well with other dogs, but is not a good candidate for a home with cats. He is house trained and Crate trained and is a very smart boy, learning new concepts with ease. We believe he may be a Cane Corso mix and he weighs about 65-70 pounds. We have had him neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations. He was heartworm negative and has been placed on monthly prevention. This sweet guy needs a home to rest and continue healing. He is so affectionate and kind hearted, with an incredibly sweet spirit and endless amounts of love, despite what he's been through. Can anyone out there offer him the loving home that he so desperately wants and deserves? Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
Hi I'm Mercedes, I am a 5 yr old female purebred Cane Corso. I am about 115-120lbs. I love attention, cuddles, being outside and running. I love squeaky toys, playing ball (except I don't like to bring it back), chewing toys and bones, belly and butt scratches are my favorite along with excessive cuddles. I came from a backdoor breeder from new providence PA but have lived in Hanover PA my whole life with no medical or special needs. I get along with adults and children but I do not like other dogs. I will get aggressive. I will tolerate small dogs and cats, but prefer to be alone so I can get all the attention. I am looking for a loving and affectionate home with lots of space to run and play. I do have an attitude and like to talk back when I want something. Someone please help find me forever home.

Story
Hi! My name is Hercules. I am a Mastiff puppy weighing in at over 60lbs at 4 months old. I am up to date on my puppy shots and have been microchipped. I have been working so hard on my good boy puppy skills. I am housebroken, crate trained and I sleep all night. I walk well on leash, and even pass bunnies without reaction. I am a big boy who loves to play hard and chase after balls. I am still learning to bring them back. I love my foster family so much, and can't wait to show my new family all of that love too. I even love the dogs and cats in my foster home. I love my foster family so much that I am feeling protective over them. My foster Momma has started me in training with a local company. The rescue plans to cover the training fee to continue with my new family. My new family must be committed to once a week training with my trainer, and homework every day so I can practice and be the bestest boy ever. Because of my giant size and protective nature, the rescue feels that I should have an adult only home, and someone should adopt me who has large breed experience. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Story
Trained Special Handler, Savvy Dog Owner Penny is an owner surrender. The lady got married and is now expecting and didn't want her working dog anymore. YES, I SAID OBEDIENCE TRAINED DOG Penny has been used as a balance dog, so she knows the protocol. She will be placed in a home where she is the only dog because like many dogs out there, she was raised without dogs, cats or children, and doesn't get along with them now. Penny's is protective of her person, and will keep others away, this must be monitored. She doesn't do anything out of the way with humans, but dogs are another matter. She will only be placed where there are no other pets, as she is the boss, and causes trouble with other dogs. We recommend further training with her in her new home, in addition to a handler who understands retired working dogs. Penny is extremely loving, beautiful, and blows coat twice a year with a vengeance. Penny loves outings, but we will provide a muzzle to keep her out of trouble with people who won't listen to you. Penny says she is ready to stop this vacation now and settle in with her forever person.
