She likes blankets and nesting, nature walks, belly rubs, baths (yes a dog that likes baths!), stuffies and car rides. Spike does not care for neighborhood walks as she will pancake and want to return to her home. One of Spike's favorite activities is stealing clean laundry to take to her kennel. Spike is good with kids and cats, however, she is dog selective (she does not do well with large, female dogs). Story
Meet Tyson – Your Next Best Friend! Tyson is a 2-year-old Cane Corso/Poodle mix with the best of both breeds: smart, loving, and full of personality. At about 80 lbs, he's a big cuddlebug who’s happiest by your side- whether that means going for long walks, playing outside, or curling up on the couch for some snuggles and snacks (he loves his treats!). This handsome guy is: - Neutered - Up to date on all vaccines - Healthy and low-shedding - Needs grooming every ~10-12 weeks. Tyson thrives in a home where he can be the only dog and get plenty of attention. He’s not a fan of other dogs, but he loves people and would do best with older kids who can match his energy and respect his space. A fenced yard or an active owner who can take him on daily walks would be ideal - he has energy to burn and loves being outside. Tyson is looking for someone who wants a loyal, affectionate companion. If you’ve got time, love, and maybe a comfy couch to spare, Tyson could be the perfect fit!

We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Drop everything you’re doing and feast your eyes on sweet Damus! He’s listed as a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd weighing in at 72 pounds. Maybe mixed with Chow?We are guessing he may be in the range of 6 to 8 years old.   This boy loves kids and is great with other dogs! Damus is incredibly gentle and friendly. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and can be left to free roam in house during the day and will not touch a thing, he just sleeps. He knows how to sit for treats, shake hands, and hi-five! An absolute dreamboat! He is great with other dogs, cats, children, everyone he meets. He even does well on a leash. What more could you ask for? He would love to find his forever home as soon as he can. Damus is such a sweetheart and greets you with a smile everytime. Any family will be so lucky to adopt him!
