Athena is an active velcro dog who stays by your side whether you are indoors or spending time outside. She loves playing fetch and tug-of-war but also entertains herself with her favorite toys or chewing on her favorite bone.She does well without a crate, including during work hours and overnight. Loud noises like thunder, fireworks, and bug zappers can make her anxious.Athena takes a moment to warm up to new people, but once comfortable she becomes a loyal protector and best friend.Due to her size and strength, she is best suited for a home with older children. She would do best in an only dog home or with larger male dogs, as she has shown aggression towards 1 of our female dogs due to alpha traits.Athena's vaccinations are up to date until 8/29 and she was spayed on 8/17/26.We have had Athena since 1/2/26, 2 days before her 1st birthday, and we are heartbroken to say goodbye to her. She needs a safe home, sense of purpose and an endless supply of ear scratches and belly rubs.

Big Mac is completely house-trained, has a great appetite, and has even cut back on his grass-snacking. When he hears the key in the door, he’ll greet you with the sweetest little pittie-style bark because he’s so happy you’re home. He’s easy to live with, cat-friendly, and once you’ve earned his trust, you’re part of his family for life. His favorite place to be is wherever you are—especially if you’re headed to the bathroom, because Big Mac firmly believes no one should have to make that trip alone! He enjoys lounging on the floor (or any pile of dirty clothes he can claim) instead of his dog bed, proving that comfort is all about perspective. While he hasn’t been out for walks recently due to his foster’s knee surgery, we’re told he’s easy on leash and doesn’t pull. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend with a heart as big as his head, Big Mac is your guy.

He has successfully learned to live as part of a pack with dogs ranging from 51 to 140 pounds and enjoys the companionship of his canine friends. Ribeye has formed a strong bond with his foster dad and especially loves their quiet cuddle time together. Like many dogs of his breed, he may become protective of his person during these cozy moments, so his adopter should be mindful of that natural tendency. Ribeye is a wonderful house companion. He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is not destructive in the home. He enjoys chewing on bones, playing with stuffed toys, and is always excited for a car ride. On walks, Ribeye is curious about rabbits and cats and likes to watch them, but he has not been formally tested with either species. For that reason, any introductions to cats or other small animals should be done thoughtfully. Ribeye has come a long way and is ready to find a home that will continue to help him thrive. With love, consistency, and plenty of quality time, he'll make a loyal and devoted companion.
