Hugo sounds like an absolute **lovable menace** 😂 Five-year-old profile: * 🐸 **Frog enemy:** Will enthusiastically attempt to end the frog population on walks. * 🚗 **Car enthusiast:** Loves car rides and apparently considers himself fully qualified to drive. * 🐱 **Cat compatible:** Can relax around cats and is very easily redirected. * 🍖 **Snack-motivated:** Will absolutely body-check you for food, especially if it’s something he wants. * 🐕 **Dog neutrality:** Dogs exist. Hugo does not care. At all. Ever. * 🧲 **Certified Velcro dog:** If you are there, Hugo is probably attached to you. * 🧠 **Redirectable:** Despite the frog-related criminal ambitions and snack-based assaults, he sounds wonderfully responsive when redirected. Basically: **“I love everyone, I fear nothing, I will follow you everywhere, and if you have food I will be taking it now.”** 😂

Story
Big Mac is the definition of a gentle giant. This handsome 9-year-old Cane Corso has settled beautifully into foster care and is proving what an incredible companion he is. Big Mac is completely house-trained, has a great appetite, and has even cut back on his grass-snacking. When he hears the key in the door, he’ll greet you with the sweetest little pittie-style bark because he’s so happy you’re home. He’s easy to live with, cat-friendly, and once you’ve earned his trust, you’re part of his family for life. His favorite place to be is wherever you are—especially if you’re headed to the bathroom, because Big Mac firmly believes no one should have to make that trip alone! He enjoys lounging on the floor (or any pile of dirty clothes he can claim) instead of his dog bed, proving that comfort is all about perspective. While he hasn’t been out for walks recently due to his foster’s knee surgery, we’re told he’s easy on leash and doesn’t pull. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend with a heart as big as his head, Big Mac is your guy.

Story
Ribeye was once a timid and submissive boy, but with the patience and guidance of his dedicated foster family, he has blossomed into a confident, happy dog. He has successfully learned to live as part of a pack with dogs ranging from 51 to 140 pounds and enjoys the companionship of his canine friends. Ribeye has formed a strong bond with his foster dad and especially loves their quiet cuddle time together. Like many dogs of his breed, he may become protective of his person during these cozy moments, so his adopter should be mindful of that natural tendency. Ribeye is a wonderful house companion. He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is not destructive in the home. He enjoys chewing on bones, playing with stuffed toys, and is always excited for a car ride. On walks, Ribeye is curious about rabbits and cats and likes to watch them, but he has not been formally tested with either species. For that reason, any introductions to cats or other small animals should be done thoughtfully. Ribeye has come a long way and is ready to find a home that will continue to help him thrive. With love, consistency, and plenty of quality time, he'll make a loyal and devoted companion.

Story
Of course — I’d add it near the beginning so adopters immediately understand that Kingdom and Titan arrived together. **Meet Kingdom ❤️🐾** Kingdom is a **super sweet, loving boy** who came in with Titan and really wants to be around his people. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he knows someone is nearby. He is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already knows a variety of commands. With consistent verbal cues, he listens well and can be easily redirected. Kingdom walks nicely on a leash and does very well when given guidance. He is a **strong boy**, but despite his size and strength, he has **absolutely no food aggression**. He is gentle enough to happily eat watermelon right from my granddaughter’s hands. 🍉❤️ Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, Kingdom has shown some nervousness at night. He has been working through that by having music or a sound machine playing, along with a lavender mister to help him settle and relax. He also loves his belly rubs and will happily roll onto his back for them! Kingdom does have a bit of a **chewing habit** while he adjusts. His first night, he chewed his bed, and even after getting him some chew toys, he managed to remove the stuffing from both beds. He has also chewed on a blanket. He isn’t eating the material, and I continue to monitor him closely. This seems to be more about nerves and needing an appropriate outlet for his energy than anything else. With some patience, structure, appropriate chew toys, and lots of reassurance, Kingdom has so much potential to settle into a wonderful routine. **Kingdom is a smart, affectionate, eager-to-please boy who simply wants to be loved and close to his person. He came in with Titan, and both boys have shown what sweet, loving dogs they can be. Give Kingdom some guidance, belly rubs, and a little patience, and he will give you his whole heart.** ❤️🐾

Story
Jango may have some Malinois mixed in, and the vet thinks he’s actually younger than the shelter estimated. On paper he’s listed as 2–3 years old, but this handsome guy may be a younger pup with plenty of growing and learning still ahead of him! Jango does well in his crate, although he will let you know when he wants your attention or needs to go outside. 😆 He is a strong puller on leash, so he’ll need someone willing to continue working with him on his walking skills. The good news? Jango is already a smart boy who knows sit, paw, other paw, down, wait, leave it, and drop it! He loves bones and tug toys, so he’s definitely a guy who enjoys having something fun to do. Jango has lots of potential and would thrive with an active person or family who will keep working with his training, give him plenty of appropriate outlets, and let him show off just how smart he is. ❤️ 🐶 Jango is ready for someone to continue helping him become the amazing dog he’s meant to be!
