New Oxford PA 17350; LIC #9736&#226&#128&#139 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. London was saved from the kill shelter at the last minute. She been fostered back to health over the last year. She's been tested around dogs, cats, birds, kids and strangers. Like a typical corso, she's suspicious of new people at first, but atypically she accepts them quickly. She deserves a loving home. She does have allergies, but is well maintained with an occasional bath and cytopoint injection.

But behind that striking exterior is a gentle, tender boy who just wants to connect. At first, Theo can be shy about getting on leash, but with a little patience and encouragement, he blossoms into a wonderful walking companion. He doesn’t pull much, loves his treats, and is quick to make eye contact with his person. This handsome guy already knows “sit” and “paw,” and once he’s comfortable, his playful side begins to shine through. Theo came into the shelter with two other Cane Corsos—one thought to be his mom—and volunteers believe he may be younger than originally noted. With consistency, love, and a safe place to land, Theo will grow into a deeply loyal best friend. Precious, handsome, and full of heart—Theo is waiting to meet the person who will see the gem he truly is. 💙

Meet Duck! 🐾 Duck is a 6-month-old petite Cane Corso mix with a sweet, gentle personality. He is very friendly and has a submissive temperament, making him a wonderful companion for many types of homes. He loves playing with other dogs and would do great with a canine buddy, but he’d also be happy soaking up all the attention himself. Duck is crate trained and is currently working on housebreaking, making good progress for a puppy. Like most puppies, he enjoys staying busy—his favorite chew toys are bones and rope toys. When it’s time to wind down, Duck is all about cuddles and treats. He loves affection and will happily curl up or roll over from belly rubs after a day of play. He’s part of the loose-leash club, walking beautifully beside you like a gentleman. He’s also very food-motivated, which means training will be smooth, fun, and full of happy tail wags. Cantaloupe's gentle, affectionate personality shines through in every moment. This boy is kind, polite, eager to please, and so soulful it’ll melt your heart. He did fine meeting other dogs on leash so may be ok in the home with slow introductions to other calm dogs. Last we heard, he wasn’t a fan of playgroup, so it might just depend on the dog/situation. Sweet, charming, and ready to ripen into the best companion ever — Cantaloupe is truly a special one. There’s bound to be a line for this boy… so don’t wait.
