🐾 MEET SUGAR 🐾Available soon 9 months old • Cane Corso • 80 lbs • Female Sugar is a beautiful 9-month-old Cane Corso who is already about 80 pounds of gentle giant — and she’s looking for the right person to continue showing her what life with a family is supposed to be like. Sugar was kept by her breeder, but unfortunately she was largely left to run on her own. She came to us with no formal training, no vaccinations, no spay, and very little socialization with people. So right now, Sugar is learning a whole new world — and she is learning FAST. ❤️ Because she wasn't properly socialized, Sugar can be unsure when meeting someone new. She may give a small growl at first while she figures you out; and because she isn't the type of dog who instantly trusts everyone — her trust needs to be earned. But once you earn it, you get to see the Sugar we're getting to know. Despite everything she missed during her first nine months, Sugar has shown us just how gentle she can be. She has not chased, growled at, or snapped at any of the dogs in the home, and she hasn't attempted to chase the cat. She is curious, learning boundaries and becoming more comfortable every day. She is mostly housebroken, although we say that lightly because she isn't being given free range of the house yet. She will occasionally pee in her kennel, but she has not had any bowel-movement accidents in her kennel. Sugar already has some important things on her calendar: ❤️ Spay appointment — September 4th - now spayed! 🐾 Following recovery, Sugar will be assessed by Mason Dixon Canine for boarding/training so we can better understand her needs and give her the foundation she never received as a puppy. Sugar is a large, powerful breed with limited early socialization, so we want to be transparent about where she is right now. She isn't a finished dog. She's a young dog who was never given the opportunity to learn — and now she finally is. What we've seen so far gives us a lot of hope. Underneath that big Cane Corso exterior is a sweet, cautious girl who wants a person she can trust. Once Sugar decides you're one of her people, she's right there with you. ❤️ Sugar didn't get the best beginning, but we're determined to make sure the rest of her story is different. London was saved from the kill shelter at the last minute. She been fostered back to health over the last year. She's been tested around dogs, cats, birds, kids and strangers. Like a typical corso, she's suspicious of new people at first, but atypically she accepts them quickly. She deserves a loving home. She does have allergies, but is well maintained with an occasional bath and cytopoint injection.

Big Mac is the definition of a gentle giant. This handsome 9-year-old Cane Corso has settled beautifully into foster care and is proving what an incredible companion he is. Big Mac is completely house-trained, has a great appetite, and has even cut back on his grass-snacking. When he hears the key in the door, he’ll greet you with the sweetest little pittie-style bark because he’s so happy you’re home. He’s easy to live with, cat-friendly, and once you’ve earned his trust, you’re part of his family for life. His favorite place to be is wherever you are—especially if you’re headed to the bathroom, because Big Mac firmly believes no one should have to make that trip alone! He enjoys lounging on the floor (or any pile of dirty clothes he can claim) instead of his dog bed, proving that comfort is all about perspective. While he hasn’t been out for walks recently due to his foster’s knee surgery, we’re told he’s easy on leash and doesn’t pull. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend with a heart as big as his head, Big Mac is your guy.

Ribeye was once a timid and submissive boy, but with the patience and guidance of his dedicated foster family, he has blossomed into a confident, happy dog. He has successfully learned to live as part of a pack with dogs ranging from 51 to 140 pounds and enjoys the companionship of his canine friends. Ribeye has formed a strong bond with his foster dad and especially loves their quiet cuddle time together. Like many dogs of his breed, he may become protective of his person during these cozy moments, so his adopter should be mindful of that natural tendency. Ribeye is a wonderful house companion. He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is not destructive in the home. He enjoys chewing on bones, playing with stuffed toys, and is always excited for a car ride. On walks, Ribeye is curious about rabbits and cats and likes to watch them, but he has not been formally tested with either species. For that reason, any introductions to cats or other small animals should be done thoughtfully. Ribeye has come a long way and is ready to find a home that will continue to help him thrive.
