Story
This sweet girl ended up at a high kill shelter in a smaller country town. The shelter does not treat their animals very well so she spent several days confined to a small space with no human interaction. Marni is doing well in her foster home. She rarely barks and does very well in her crate.  She is good with dogs of all sizes and sweet to all humans she meets. She is still getting comfortable so we have not seen her full personality yet but we will update her posts as we see her come out of her shell. The vet estimates her to be about 6 months old, she is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $350. ##1673419##

Story
-Favorite thing about your foster (what is their general personality like, do they have any fun quirks/ traits)? She has the softest coat and is always happy!!! When she decides she doesn't want to do something she goes limp like a wet noodle like she has no bones -What is your foster's general energy level like? She def has puppy energy, she is a big girl and will get bigger and needs space to burn it off but she is also happy to lay down and snooze after a good romp or overnight -How does your foster do in their crate? She is not a huge fan of the crate but she does better with another dog in the room and being able to see outside. She whines or barks for a few min but will settle down after that -Is your foster potty trained? Yes -How does your foster do in the car? She does great, no whining and has not had any accidents in the car -How does your foster do with other dogs? She loves loves loves them. She needs to have slower intros as she is sooooo overexcited and can come off as a lot for another dog at first. She does eventually settle down and she is such a happy puppy. She does have high play energy and is not always super polite but she just doesn't know that it's rude to jump on your friends, but she is learning! -How does your foster do with cats? Ava enjoys cat friends -How does your foster do with children? She adores them! She is still learning some manners when she gets over excited, her size and her uncoordinated puppy self sometimes bumps or jumps which could be scary for children who aren't used to it or may accidentally hurt a small child(or dog)but she just loves being around them and she loves people in general and she is def a Velcro dog! She does not like being alone

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi! I'm Lulu! I am a high-spirited, 4year old, female Dane/Boxer mix and weigh around 80 lbs. I am interested in becoming a pampered princess! I ADORE a snuggly bed to sleep on and don't even get me started on new toys. Prepare to play if you pull out a tennis ball! I walk well on a leash, but I definitely have some strength (SHE-HULK mode activated!), so I will need someone who has experience with larger dogs or that is willing to learn. I take corrections on a leash well and I understand basic commands. I will need a little more training to be the best doggo I can be. Unfortunately, I would need to be the only pet in the home as I insist on being the center of your attention. I also prefer my humans to be over 16 years old. Small kids think I'm a pony and I am not a fan. I am looking forward to having a furever family that will give me all the love and patience I need to be the best doggy I can be. I have been looking for my furever home for 394 days and counting as of 5/22/23 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters and heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. May 31, 2023, 5:54 pm

Story
Do you want a perfect dog? Then look no further. Let us introduce Quartz! She is a gorgeous 6 year old, Malinois mix that weighs around 60 Lbs. We can't say enough good things about this sweetie pie. She is totally potty trained, gets along with other dogs and loves loves loves her person. Quartz is the smartest girl you'll meet and is very focused on her human for commands. It just comes natural to her! This darling girl was originally surrendered to the Animal Shelter because her owner lost their home and there was no place for her to go. So now she is looking for a family who is interested in sharing the next chapter of her life with her. She enjoys playing and cuddling! Quartz does play well with other dogs, but older dogs make the best companions for her. She is house and crate trained, walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. She is somewhat shy at first and then her goofy playful side comes out after a few minutes. Quartz is good with other dogs but no cats. Quartz has been a shelter resident for 120 days as of 05/05/23 and is now considered a Diamond Dog! Her adoption fee is $75. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and Heartworm Negative. Come by and meet her today!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
