DOZER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED! Say hello to sweet Dozer! Dozer is a 2 year old Carolina dog mix that about 50lbs. He thrives on love and attention from his humans. He likes balls of all sizes, fuzzy toys and friends to play with. This boy will make a wonderful addition to a loving, fun family! Dozer is an active boy, that will do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He does like to chase cats if they run, but also plays gently if they give him a chance. He is great with the foster puppies in his home. He teaches the babies how to play, and watches over them. He is a smart and handsome guy. He is leash, kennel, and house trained. Expensive toys aren't necessary for this sweet boy as sticks are his favorite! He'll pick them up, run with them, and fetch them. Dozer  rides very well, and his favorite place to go to is Tractor Supply. He loves meeting people and being the center of attention. Dozer is ready for adoption. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Dozer up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Dozer here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
ROGER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!   Are you looking for a big, cuddly couch potato? You have found your pup! Roger is a 75-pound, 1-year old Carolina/Shepherd mix whose love of naps and cuddle sessions are matched only by his love of booty skritches. He has an EAR-resistible face with his light eyes and single ear always at attention. He is the happiest, snuggliest boy! He even greets his grown ups with a “smile” when they walk through the door. Please don’t try to tell him he’s not a lap dog; he’d never believe you.    Despite being a long, lanky boy, he’s a bit of a scaredy cat. He’s timid of strangers at first and prefers a home without children. Roger was previously adopted by a family with young kids. Despite months of coaching and training, it has become clear he will not get over his fear of children and so he is now looking for a kid-free forever home. Roger loves other dogs and has not been cat-tested. He is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash.    Roger is truly the cuddliest, most loving lazy bones — an old soul, no doubt! Let’s find him a home where he will get the big love he deserves! He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Roger up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Roger here:  www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
CALEB IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!   Caleb is sweet and very smart. He is a 10 month old mixed breed pup that weighs about 40lbs. He is also quick to learn new commands. He already walks well on lead, knows ‘no’, is learning leave it and sit. He is crate trained and will bark to be let out. Caleb plays very well with all other dogs in the foster home of every size. He would enjoy the company of another well temperamented canine friend or be happy focusing all of his attention on his person. Keep in mind, Caleb’s favorite thing is playing chase with his foster siblings. He prefers to play with dogs slightly larger than he is. He can be rough (puppy energy) with toy sized dogs. Caleb loves kids. He loves sticks, balls, and Benebones! Once you see this precious pup with the Heart on his head, your heart will melt. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. Story
BARBIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Barbie is a 5-year-old weighing around 40 lbs with a sweet, gentle soul. She’s partially blind in one eye, but it doesn’t slow her down or dampen her spirit one bit. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit. Barbie walks nicely on a leash using either a prong collar or a martingale. She’s great with dogs, kids, and cats, and does wonderfully being left home alone while you’re at work—no destruction, no drama. Barbie enjoys a calm lifestyle and prefers being near her people. She’ll fetch a ball a little, but toys aren’t really her thing. What is her thing? Snuggling in bed and keeping you company. She has no allergies, isn’t picky about food, and takes treats very gently. While she’s not a fan of baths, she’s patient and cooperative for nail trims. Overall, Barbie is an easy, low-maintenance companion who just wants to be close to you. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving dog who fits easily into home life, Barbie could be your perfect match. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
