Story
SOS!! Cinnamon Sugar SOS - - she was only given 1 month of foster. Meet Cinnamon Sugar, a 2–3-year-old, 50-lb sweetheart who has spent far too long simply trying to survive after someone seemingly left her behind. Everything about Cinnamon tells us she was once someone’s dog. She is incredibly well-behaved, potty trained in the yard, wonderful on a leash, perfect in the car, and knows exactly how to live alongside people. At some point, the family she trusted disappeared, leaving this incredibly sweet girl to fend for herself. Cinnamon stayed around the same neighborhood, seemingly believing it was still her home. But life there became increasingly dangerous. Feral street pack dogs bullied and chased her, neighbors no longer wanted her around, and recently a loose dog even attacked her. Somehow, through all of it, Cinnamon remained gentle, trusting, and desperate for affection. Thankfully, one kind neighbor has offered Cinnamon a safe foster home — but only for one month. We now have a small window to find this deserving girl the forever family she has been waiting for. Cinnamon is spayed, vaccinated, 4DX negative, fully vetted, and up to date on preventatives. She loves other dogs, has lived peacefully around cats, and is truly the kind of easy, loving companion who just wants to belong. Cinnamon is currently in Puerto Rico, but she can be adopted anywhere in the U.S. Like all of our Puerto Rico rescues, we will arrange her flight off the island to her adoptive family, and her transport is included in her adoption fee. Someone may have abandoned Cinnamon once, but she never stopped believing in people. Now she has one month of safety while we find the person who will finally show her that this time, she is home forever.

Story
I'm Sky and I'm very energetic and playful. I really need a companion - human or dog, preferably both. I get along with other dogs and love to run around. Do you live near a dog park or have a fenced-in yard? Awesome! Looking for an adventure partner? So am I! I am a good size to take in the car or camper wherever the road takes us! Sky has been at the rescue for over 2 years! She needs a home of her own. She is another case of 'boring looking brown dog' who has been overlooked. Through no fault of her own, people have not noticed her. She would be a great companion for anyone looking for a loyal dog. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering.Sky's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, her adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41To see sky walking on leash, please copy and paste into your browser:https://youtube.com/shorts/7j7kHLfffXc?feature=share

Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesMitch is a sweet, gentle, and playful boy with the most expressive ears you've ever seen. Whether they're perked up with curiosity or flopping as he relaxes, they perfectly match his charming personality. This lovable pup enjoys all the best things in life: squeaky toys, cozy naps, and snuggling up in a comfy bed (or on the couch... he's definitely earned those privileges!). With a medium energy level, Mitch strikes the perfect balance between playful and laid-back. He's just as happy romping around with his dog friends as he is spending quality time with his favorite people.Mitch is a social guy who does wonderfully when meeting other dogs and enjoys playtime with his canine companions. He also adores children ages 4 and up. As for cats, he's met one and wasn't particularly impressed, so he'd likely be happiest in a feline-free home. He's house-trained and eager to learn, already working on commands like "sit." During the day, Mitch is comfortable spending a few hours in his crate, and at night he sleeps peacefully in his crate in his own space. He may voice a brief opinion about bedtime with a few minutes of whining, but he settles in nicely and sleeps through the night. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Mitch might just be your perfect match!*Mitch is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program.*Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
