Story
DSH – brown tabby -Female- Felv/FIV negative DOB approx 09/15/21 Hi peeps! My name is Wendy and I'm a Tucson native. I was born on the the streets of Tucson and rescued during a TNR effort. Being a friendly kitten, I was taking into the care of the rescue and placed in a foster home with my brothers. I'm initially shy which also does not help when people want to meet me. I promise, I'm only shy at first but am affectionate and love my people once I started trusting them. Just ask my foster mom. One thing I do not like is being picked up and held for longer periods of time aka carried around. It's just something I do not like. But, please let me tell you what I am bringing to the table. I'm a playful and loving cat after I get to know you. My foster home is kind of buys with human children, two mid-size dogs, and other rescue cats which leads me to seek attention later in the day when things are more quiet. When the mood strikes, I like my belly rubbed. You will know when that is as I will plop on the floor right in front of your feet. I also like sleeping on the bed with my foster mom as I am a snuggle bug. I'm the best Netflix buddy you can ask for and I won't spoil the ending of movies. I don't judge if we watch movies or listen to music on the couch or in bed as long as I can snuggle up with you. I promise! My preferred home would be one where I could be the only cat and be spoiled rotten. I'm live with the dogs in the home and even though I'm okay(ish) with the other cats, I would do best in a home without other cats. With that being said, I really would love to have a human and home to call my home. I’m what they call "ready for my forever home" as I'm already spayed, current on age appropriate vaccines, and have a microchip. I'm good with dogs, older kids, and will pick my person. My adoption fee of $140 includes: *spay surgery *up to day on vaccines *Felv/FIV testing *deworming *microchip To schedule a meet and greet, please submit a non-binding adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application Email: info@SOScatrescueAZ.org Call: (520) 445-3889

Story
My name is Nala and I wanted to introduce myself. I grew up on the streets of Phoenix until a rescuer took me in and gave me a foster home. Unfortunately, life happened and they couldn't keep me. I was transported to Tucson to join a foster home there. I'm very social and outgoing, but I’m not a lap cat. I will join you on the couch or bed for cuddle time and to watch TV as I LOVE to get pets but I can't lay in one place for too long; I will get up and stretch my legs and come back for more chin scratches. My one quirk is that I love gently sneak attacks and use my foster dad's arm as a warm up before playtime with toys. I have to point out that I don't break skin when I play but he says that I'm not a good fit for smaller children because of it. My favorite toys are string toys and anything that can be thrown and chased. I like playing with the kitten in my current foster home but I need a lot of time to warm up with older cats. I guess they don’t prefer my energy level. I would do best in a calm environment with plenty of attention, chin scratches, and a adult human to love on. In return, I would help you cut back on your screen time on the phone by gently nudging it out of your hands - if that's something you'd like me to do. If you want to meet me, please submit an adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application Email: info@SOScatrescueAZ.org Call: (520) 445-3889 Thank you! My $160 adoption fee includes *spay surgery *age appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies) *treatment for internal & external parasites *microchip implant DSH, grey tabby with white Female - spayed DOB: approx. 04/18/2023

DSH, tortoiseshell Female - neutered FELV/FIV - negative Approx DOB: 02/24/2022 Hi peeps! My name is Queen of Sheba -- Queenie to my friends. I lived on the streets for most of my life cared for by a colony caretaker I befriended. This kind soul took good care of me and made the connection to the rescue so that I'm now able to live a happy indoor life. I'm a loving adult gal with tortitude and extra toes on my front paws: 6 on one and 7 on the other. Hemingway would love me. I enjoy launching on cat trees and looking out windows. I'm affectionate but -like any good tortie - it has to be on my terms. I will let you know when enough is enough and when I'm not yet done with receiving your pets. I get along with other cats as long as they know that I'm the queen. I'm already spayed and since I was part of a colony I have the ear tip to show for it. I'm also dewormed, up to dated on my vaccines (FRVCP and rabies), tested negative for FELV/FIV, and have a microchip. If you need an independent yet snuggly cat with tortitude and loud purrs in your life, please arrange a meet-and-greet in my foster home by submitting an adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application Email: info@SOScatrescueAZ.org Call: (520) 445-3889 Thank you! ~Queenie My $160 adoption fee includes *spay surgery *age appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies) *treatment for internal & external parasites *microchip implant (when receives rabies vaccine) *FeLV/FIV testing

Story
Anika is a beautiful young cat that was abandoned and left alone to survive outdoors. We took her in but she was very distrusting and afraid of people. She can be petted but needs a patient person that will nurture her to bring her our of her shell. She is playful and likes treats and will let you give back scratches near her tail. This relationship will build slow and steady but the deep bond will be worth the patience. Anika has come a long way.  However, she needs to go to a quiet home and would best be adopted with Nina, they have become a bonded pair.       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 5, 2025, 1:49 pm
