Story
The boy with the wonky tail is officially up for adoption. After being transferred into our center, our team has tried our best to bring him out of his shell. From the beginning he wanted nothing to do with human interaction, but we've made our way into his heart with treats, patience and lots of playing. Although still timid of being approached, or fast movements, he will approach you and want to play. His favorite toy is the string wand! Just be mindful that if you're looking for a cuddly kitten, this isn't going to be the cat for you. Thunder does play well with other cats, and has made a friend with his roommate Lilo! Thunder will need to go to a family that is willing to continue his journey of socialization! If you think Thunder may be the right fit for your family, please fill out an application form. Thunder is available to view at shelter, but we ask to keep numbers to a maximum of two as he does get overwhelmed with too many hands. Story
Badger has had a rough go of his life, but he still remains a very sweet guy. After coming into the care of the SPCA from a cat hoarding situation, Badger was finally able to get his needs meet. Vet visit, after vet visit, he is now able to move into a new home. Although timid at first, he does warm up to regular faces! He will need the right home that will be patient with his social recovery. Primary Color: Grey Weight: 4.48 Age: 8yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Brought in as stray, this lovely girl is now ready to settle down and live her best life! Blacky is friendly, and playful but also has a very laid-back side! Blacky is keen to catch all the mice and balls you throw around, and also is an amazing wand snatcher. We assume her skills come from her previous life as a street cat :) Full of rambunctious energy, we recommend she goes to a home where she can play till her hearts content. As well, she needs to remain the single animal in a household; No other cats, or dogs please! Blacky has a tendency to become very stressed out which can lead to inappropriate urination. We have found what works at shelter for her, and have had no problems since! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Black Weight: 4.5 Age: 2yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
Lilo is a timid lady that will need some time to adjust. We have been working with her everyday to form a bond, and really get to know her better. She is very fond of treats, and has the interest to play but can't quite make that commitment to letting us play with her. We have seen her eyes sparkle with interest though! We will continue to update her file as she comes out of her shell. We think a companion cat that has that motherly instinct may make her socialization and home-life even better as well! Lilo is in shelter and available to meet, but you won't get the full picture until she has really settled into her new home over time. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 3.34 Age: 0yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
Meet Molly! This sweet senior has been through a few homes in her day due to no fault of her own, and is really eager for her forever home to discover her and take her home! Molly is a shy, large and sweet lady, who loves to make biscuits for her best friends, and will kneed her way right into your heart. She is still quite unsure being here at the center, so spends much of her day hiding in her house, making sure to peak her head out to see whos there, and if its okay to come out!She is easily won over with temptations and wet food, and will make great progress with a committed home who can utilize positive reinforcement to encourage her outgoing side! We think she would ideally appreciate a quiet home, and may not be too thrilled with young children in her space.Molly is a big gal, so hopes for a home who can help her get to a healthy weight, and maybe also offer her a large and comfy litterbox she can easily get into! She is a very nice girl and will make a great cozy companion to the right home!Come on by the Comox Center to meet her today! We are open from 12-4 Tuesday to Saturday for viewing! :) Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.79 Age: 12yrs 0mths 3wks
