Story
Beavis here is a very sweet guy, although a bit shy at first with new people. Once he's comfortable with you, he will rub all over you and soak up all the attention. We don't know much about his past life, so we are still learning about his personality. He has shown interest in other cats here at the shelter, so he could potentially do well with a feline friend in the home. Beavis likes to find warm and cozy spots to curl up in and have a nap. If you're interested in Beavis, send us an application or come down to the Comox Valley branch to meet him! We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 12-4pm. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.1 Age: 4yrs 10mths 1wks

Story
Meet Turnip! This beautiful girl is looking for a loving home where she can live her best life. Turnip was previously an indoor/outdoor cat, and here in shelter she has been loving the comforts of indoor life, but she may appreciate a home with a catio or safe outdoor space. Turnip has previously lived with other cats, and she reportedly tolerated them but wasn't a huge fan of them. She has also lived with dogs and got along well with them. She was a bit shy when she first arrived here, and she may take a few days to settle in to a new home, but she is quickly coming out of her shell and showing us her loving personality. Turnip has a spay appointment booked for March 18th, and we are looking to place her into a foster-to-adopt home so she can settle in while she waits for her spay.If you are interested in adding Turnip to your family, please send in an application!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Calico Weight: 3.42 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks

Meet Lulu & Oscar - Our Sweet Little Sea Pair 🐾⚓Lulu (female) and Oscar (male) are a beautiful bonded duo who have just come into our care after spending their entire lives living aboard a boat. These two have known the gentle sway of the water and the salty sea breeze as home, and they're now looking for their next big adventure - together.Lulu is a true little sea queen. She's affectionate, confident, and has a very refined taste - fresh prawns are her absolute favorite! She's happiest when she's close to her people, soaking up attention or watching the world go by from a sunny perch.Oscar, her devoted companion, is a laid-back sweetheart. While seafood isn't really his thing, he loves being part of the action. He's the kind of boy who will happily tag along for the ride, taking in the views and keeping you company wherever you go. Calm, gentle, and loyal, Oscar balances Lulu's spirited charm perfectly.Because they've spent their lives on a boat, they would absolutely thrive with a fisherman, boater, or anyone who spends time on the water and would love two furry first mates. They're well-adjusted to that lifestyle and find comfort in being close to their humans.Lulu and Oscar share a special bond and must be adopted together. If you're looking for loving companions who bring a little seaside magic wherever they go, this pair might just be your perfect crew.Ready to welcome these two aboard? 🐟💙 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.25 Age: 3yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
This gentle boy is a quiet and sensitive soul who needs extra time and reassurance to feel comfortable. He's more nervous than his mama, but with patience and a gentle approach, he starts to show his soft, loving personality. He is incredibly sweet once he feels secure. He is the other half of a bonded mother‑and‑son pair so needs to be adopted with his mum, who gives him confidence and comfort. They are a devoted duo looking for a peaceful, understanding forever home. Please note, he has a flea allergy so will require lifelong flea treatments to keep this under control. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 6.1 Age: 5yrs 6mths 3wks

Story
This gentle girl is a little timid at first, but with a little patience she warms up beautifully. Once she feels safe, she happily leans in for pets and chine scratches, showing just how affectionate she truly is. She loves her seafood flavoured treats, which is a great way to build trust and wiggle your way into her heart. She is one half of a bonded mother‑and‑son pair so they need to be adopted together.
