Story
Cherry is sweet as can be and cannot wait for her new beginnings! This petite gal can be a bit shy with new people, but is easily won over with some affection. She has the cutest little meow, and purrs like an engine! Being that she is still quite young, she's very active and loves to spend her time playing with a variety of toys. Once playtime is finished, she enjoys finding a nice, cozy spot to curl up in and have a snooze. Cherry did come to us as a stray so we don't have much history on her, but we have learned lots about her during her time here. She did come in to care with another kitty and they got along well, so she could potentially do well with another kitty in the home. If Cherry sounds like the girl for you, send us an application or come down to the Comox Valley branch to meet her! We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 12-4pm. Story
The boy with the wonky tail is officially up for adoption. After being transferred into our center, our team has tried our best to bring him out of his shell. From the beginning he wanted nothing to do with human interaction, but we've made our way into his heart with treats, patience and lots of playing. Although still timid of being approached, or fast movements, he will approach you and want to play. His favorite toy is the string wand! Just be mindful that if you're looking for a cuddly kitten, this isn't going to be the cat for you. Thunder does play well with other cats, and has made a friend with his roommate Lilo! Thunder will need to go to a family that is willing to continue his journey of socialization! If you think Thunder may be the right fit for your family, please fill out an application form. Thunder is available to view at shelter, but we ask to keep numbers to a maximum of two as he does get overwhelmed with too many hands. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: Black Weight: 2.85 Age: 0yrs 5mths 2wks
