Story
M - 8 years old - Brown Tabby Domestic Shorthair - Ben is a gentle, older brown tabby with the kindest heart in the shelter. He quietly waits… and waits… often overlooked as others come and go. But those who take the time to notice him quickly discover just how special he truly is. When Ben first came to us, he needed a lot of care. He wasn’t feeling his best and required help getting clean, comfortable, and healthy again. Through it all, he was incredibly patient and trusting, even during baths and treatments, he allowed us to help him without fuss. That kind of gentle spirit is rare. Now, he is feeling so much better. His coat is cleaner, he's more comfortable, and he’s ready to move forward. What hasn’t changed is his sweet, easygoing nature. He’s a calm, loving boy who would much rather enjoy quiet companionship than demand attention. Benjamin is looking for a soft place to land - a home where he can finally be seen, appreciated, and loved the way he deserves. He may not be the flashiest cat in the room, but he just might be the one who fills your home with the most warmth. Ben is also FIV positive. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) attacks & weakens the feline immune system and is spread by bite wounds, so these cats should only be in a household where all the cats get along. There is little risk of transmission to a non-infected cat through food sharing and social grooming. Being FIV+ is not the same as having feline AIDS, it just means the cat has been infected by the virus. These cats are more at risk of catching diseases from other cats in the household. Story
Unfortunately my son is allergic to cats so we can’t keep her. She stays inside the home and we don’t know how she’ll do outside. She hasn’t gotten her shots yet since we couldn’t afford it. She is not spayed or microchipped. We believe she’s about 4months old. She likes wet and dry food. She sleeps in a hammock. She is litter trained. She’s still skittish around people and will run from us but will allow you to pet her from time to time. Will not go in her kennel to sleep at night and prefers to be out. Shes done well so far with baths. Does lots of biscuits in the litter and will make a mess. Loves to play with our dogs. Will meow for us to take her out of her kennel. She loves to sleep on the window seal ledge. She will eat your dog’s food if you have dogs. Hasn’t fully responded to her name yet. Loves to go under couches and nooks. We have the litter box, her 3 tiered kennel, and a cat scratch toy post ready to go with her as well.

Story
F - 3 years old - Black/White Domestic Shorthair - Trudy has spent her entire life knowing the comfort of a home. Raised as a bottle baby and loved indoors ever since, this sweet black-and-white girl is ready to find the next family to call her own. A little shy at first, Trudy prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. But patience pays off with this gentle girl. Once she begins to feel safe, she'll happily lean into chin scratches. Trudy has also lived with other cats and enjoys feline companionship, making her a wonderful candidate for a home with a friendly resident kitty or one looking to adopt a pair. She's not the type to demand the spotlight. Instead, Trudy is the quiet, comforting presence who will gradually become a treasured part of your daily routine. With a little time, a lot of love, and plenty of chin scratches, she's sure to blossom into a devoted companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul who just needs a chance to feel at home again, Trudy is ready to make your house her forever home. ADOPT To adopt, come see us!
