Charlie – Handsome, Charming, and Full of Personality Meet Charlie! This handsome boy with his striking white chest is looking for a quiet home where he can be your loyal companion. Charlie enjoys morning brushing sessions, cozy naps at the foot of the bed, and carrying on "conversations" with his favorite toys. Once he gets to know you, he loves chin scratches and gentle affection—he simply likes to build trust at his own pace. Charlie would do best in a calm home with adults or older children who understand that shy cats need a little time to settle in. He's well-mannered, uses his scratching post. Special note: Charlie has an unusual fascination with plastic bags and wrappers, so his family will need to keep all plastic safely out of reach. This sweet mama cat was found in a kind person's patio planter box with her three kittens just days after giving birth. Now that her boys are big enough to find homes, it's Moira's turn to find her perfect family! Moira may be a mama, but she also seems very young in the way she plays and her natural curiosity. This mama loves to play with toys and is frequently found showing her kittens how to chase a rope toy or "mouse on a stick." Moira also loves to be brushed - which is good because of all that luxurous fur! She is VERY food motivated and loves a good squeezy treat! With her babies still at her foster home with her, Moira has shown that she can be protective of them, which may be why she's not the biggest fan of the other adult cats in the home. We can't know if that's the only reason though, so we are hoping to find her a home either with one of her babies, or as an only cat to a doting family. ___________________________________________________________ If you'd like to meet any of our adoptable kitties, please submit an Adoption Application today. Between her and her sister Ellie, Velvet is the more dominant cat as she is bigger and more muscular. During play she is an agile cat and has a fast reactive speed. When she was a kitten she liked to nip the hands of her owner but she has been trained to refrain from nipping. Velvet and her sister, Ellie are bonded. This means they must be adopted together.
