Astro is a four year old male cat. He has been an indoor cat for his whole life but loves to be outside. He loves to sunbathe, cuddle and play. He is a very gentle and loves to be around people. I i’m looking to re-home him since I have been spread thin with the health complications of my daughter.

Story
His name is Toby. I adopted him from a kill center back in May 2025 hence why I can't return him there. While he has a problem with drawing blood when he bites, I don't want him to be killed. I've sadly come to the conclusion that Toby would be happier in a different home. Whenever he makes a mistake, my family yells at him, and I don't think that stress is good for him. I've tried to convince them to stop, but the moment he makes a mistake, they yell at him again. His biting behavior is made of multiple components: 1) if his boundaries aren't respected, 2) if he wants affection and isn't getting it, 3) play aggression, 4) stress. I've tried to mitigate much of it on my own, but I'm not the only one in the household. Giving him time and affection mitigates much of the problem, but I can't address the problem of stress or play aggression on my own. It's for that reason that I don't think my house is a good long term fit for Toby even though it breaks my heart. I love him dearly.
