Story
Miss Socks was an outdoor cat that I had been feeding and keeping an eye on for the past two years. She has always very friendly so I suspected someone either owned her currently or previously. We had a heavy snowfall in February, so I was able to catch her and bring her inside. We learned not only that she was chipped but that she is 15 years (now 16!) old. We were unable to get in touch with the previous owners as their info had not been updated since 2013, so I would like to find a good home for her to live out her twilight years! She’s very sweet, but likes her space. She’s very quiet and well-behaved but has no issue expressing her opinion! She just really needs a home where she is the only cat or with another senior cat that will give her space as she is incompatible with my two and six year old who are determined to be her friends. She’s FeLV/FIV negative and just got a beautiful senior profile, so she’s healthy and hearty!

Story
Cheese is spunky and playful. He likes belly rubs while napping. He is right about 8 weeks old. He is one of 3 kittens. Cheese and his brother and sister are ready to find their forever homes. I’m not asking for any rehoming fees, my only request is that he or his siblings go to a loving home where they can live out their life with love whether it be together or separately.

Story
This cat showed up at front door the day i had to put my dog down. Took her to paws to see if someone was missing her. She was not chipped or spayed. They gave her shots, spayed her and clipped her ear then put her back into the community where she showed up on my door again. I brought her in and have kept her as long as i can as we are not ready for another animal. I have food, cat tower, litter box, litter and a toy. She definitely doesn’t want to be outside but loves the back screened porch. I really need to find her a home. She’s a typical female cat and wants attention when SHE wants attention. She loves to eat and I’ve even gotten her to play a little. She sleeps a lot like most cats but uses the litter box and the provided scratching posts and not my furniture. She is so well behaved that i really feel like someone dumped her for a reason I’ve not understood. I really really need to find her a home so thank you for looking.

Frank is a good cat. Awesome hunter. Takes a while to get used to you but once he does he is great. . My sister loved him with all her heart. Unfortunately my sister lost her battle with cancer and I cannot take the cat as they are not allowed where I live.

Story
Meet Payton, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a calm, affectionate, and playful personality. I adopted her from Animal Ark Shelter when she was just 3 years old, and shes been a loving companion ever since. Payton loves snacking on Temptations chicken treats or bonkers, scratching her favorite posts, and spending hours at the window watching the world go by. Shes not familiar with the outdoors, but she enjoys exploring through her favorite YouTube videos filled with birds and squirrel sounds. Her toy fish and tower are her favorite playtime companions. Because Payton can be easily overstimulated by loud noises and constant activity, she would do best in a quiet, calm home where she can feel safe and comfortable. She thrives when she’s given love, gentle attention, and a peaceful space to relax. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving cat who will fill your home with quiet affection and sweet companionship, Payton is the perfect match.

Story
Say hello to Luna, a quiet, sensitive 1-year-old cat looking for a calm and patient home where she can truly blossom. A gentle soul with a big heart (and even bigger ears!), Luna is as unique on the outside as she is on the inside. Luna is a gentle soul who prefers a peaceful environment and one-on-one time with her favorite person. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe and knows she can trust you, you'll discover her soft and affectionate side. While she’s not the type to demand constant cuddles, Luna loves quiet companionship such as sitting near you, enjoying slow pets, and soaking in the comfort of your presence. She would thrive in a quieter home with someone who understands that love and trust take time, and who finds joy in the quieter moments of connection. She’s not clingy, but when she chooses to be near you, it’s truly special. Luna would likely do best as your one-and-only feline or with another gentle, respectful pet. If you are interested in meeting Luna, contact Colleen at (443) 875-9971. Disclaimer: All pets posted and adopted through Neighborhood Pets are not members of Paws Humane Society.
