Waterford is a sweet, sensitive American Shorthair, female cat with a lot of love to share! She came into rescue as a stray with her brother. Her brother found a home and Waterford patiently awaits for her furever family in a foster home where she loves to give night time snuggles! She has been around dogs and is used to their antics. This 2 year old, 9-10 pound girl has beautiful green eyes and a wonderful personality! She is a tad shy at first meeting but a patient adopter will fall in love with Waterford! Full vetting with spay, microchip, up to date vaccinations and preventatives has been done! She is available for adoption and ready to meet you! We saved this precious girls life. She was rescued and could barely breathe. Her rescuers reached out to us, they had no money and needed help. This cat has been through it all! She had pyometra, severe stomatitus, and was breathing through a pinhole. She has been spayed, felv/fiv tested negative, and shots. All but her fangs have been removed and as you can see she went from a cat that couldn't breathe 7 months ago to a chunky cat! Now her rescuers is moving and cant take her. Story
Tater Tot was taken to an emergency veterinarian for an urinary blockage. The cost was to be over $4,000 to save him. The family could not afford the cost, knowing that it could happen again and relinquished to our rescue. We paid the $4,000 fee to get him unblocked and he will be on special food the rest of his life. If he were to block again he would need to have PU surgery ($6-$8,000) to save his life. Sooooooo he is doing great now. Eating special food and no stress. He needs somewhere stress free. No other cats or dogs. No small children.. He is not a normal cat, he has very short legs. Hardly enough leg to put an IV in. Very sad. He can climb but coming down is tough. He will never be a normal cat. Jumping etc is difficult. His body is very compressed so there could be health problems down the road. He needs a stress free life with a person that can afford him!
