Meet sweet Clara! Clara is about 6 years old and one resilient little lady! She came to us as a stray, on a below 0 January day. Clara was so cold and clearly needed immediate help. She was very underweight, had an awful respiratory infection and fighting to survive. Her condition was guarded for the first week she was with us, as we weren't sure she would pull through all that she had endured. Clara became stronger each day, as staff members cared for her. She remained sweet & wanting attention through it all. Clara was recently spayed when she was feeling better. We found out that she was also silently dealing with a uterine infection, called Pyometra. Pyometra is a life-threatening, severe bacterial infection of the uterus in unspayed female cats/dogs, resulting in a pus-filled uterus. Clara has recouped from everything that she has been through recently and is now ready to find a soft place to call her own. She enjoys human company, chin scratches and comfy kitty beds! Clara should be fine with other cats and kids. Proper intros to dogs if any are in her new home, as we are unsure if she's ever been around any in her past. Meet Lord Pesto! He is about 3 years old and a very handsome guy! Lord Pesto was brought in to us as a very friendly stray, that had been hanging around where someone had moved in. No one at the complex claimed him as their own.or recognized him, and it was very clear he was not an outside cat. His microchip led us to his first owner, who had given him to a family member some time ago. Neither previous owner can care for Lord Pesto and longer, so we are on the search for his new home!! Oh what a SWEET and LOVING guy this cat is!! He wants nothing more than human companionship and love! He is comical, playful and active! He will be a great addition to any family he is added to! Lord Pesto is good with kids and other cats. He hasn't really been around dogs, so proper intros are needed if any are in his new home! Hi! I'm Biscuit! I am about 5 years old and a big girl at 13#. I was found as a stray in the fall and brought in to FCAC after it wasn't working out at my finders home. I can be a very bossy and independent lady when I'm not thrilled with what is happening around me. Small kids annoy me and I'm not particularly fond of them, nor other cats or dogs. I'm otherwise a very nice cat to my mature adult humans! I'd love to be your one and only and be spoiled rotten, like the queen I think that I am! What can I say?! I do love to spend time safe time outside, via a porch or catio. Fresh air keeps me grounded and happy, you know what I mean?
