Siren's Story This kitty is in foster care! If interested in meeting her, fill out the adoption application https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Siren, Songbird of the Sunbeams Meet Siren, a stunning young mama who has officially hung up her “outdoor warrior” cape and is ready to live the cushy indoor life she always deserved. After being found outside with her tiny kittens, she raised them with fierce love, weaned them safely, and is now rediscovering what it means to relax, trust, and soak up affection. Siren is a domestic medium hair beauty with soft fur that adores being brushed—luckily, she enjoys the process just as much as you will. She loves pets, will chat with you in her sweet voice, and can usually be found perched at a window, watching the world go by like it’s her personal TV channel. She’s friendly with both cats and dogs but may need a little time to warm up—after all, she spent months in mom-mode and is still learning that she no longer needs to be on high alert. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion who loves cuddling next to you. Siren is FIV/FELV negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed, and even had a repaired abdominal hernia—she’s healthy, polished, and ready for her forever home. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’ll happily curl up on or beside you for pets, brushing sessions, and quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a gentle, gorgeous kitty who’s earned her happy ending, Siren is ready to serenade you with love.

Duncan (foster to adopt)'s Story Meet Duncan!!! Fill out an application if interested in meeting him! https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ (Dunkie, Dunks, Dunkers, Mr. Big Cheeks…the list goes on)! This sweet boy is 9 years young. Lived the thug life in a trailer park, but don’t let that fool you, he is the sweetest cat with a goofy and mischievous personality. Duncan loves bird watching, hunting insects, and chasing small plushies around the room. While usually a chill and laid-back cat, Duncan will get random BURSTS of energy that makes you wonder where he found the catnip (bet his supplier from the trailer park comes late at night). Looking for your shadow? Have no fear, Duncan has that covered for you! Once he has selected you as his person, he will be with you 24/7. He loves to snuggle up with you on your couch, your blankets, in the bathroom, anywhere and everywhere! He will “politely” remind you when it is feeding time. He does get a little persnickety about his food’s flavor, so variety is going to be your best friend! Do be warned, Duncan loses all manners when it comes to people food, so establishing boundaries for your nuggies early on will be crucial. Duncan is an absolute sweetheart when it comes to kids. He is completely patient with babies and will allow them to pull on ears, tail, and fur with no complaints. If he has had his fill, he will calmly leave. Duncan has been with other cats, and while he can cause some mischief with them, he does relatively well. Duncan absolutely cannot be in a home with dogs. Unfortunately, there is great disdain and lack of trust with dogs (even with slow introductions and treats) and for those reasons, it is safer for all to not be housed with dogs Come meet the Big Cheeked Bandit and fall in love with all his quirks and charming personality! We are looking for a special home for Duncan that can continue his medicine for cryptococcus infection. Cryptococcus is a chronic fungal infection that can take months to years to fully treat. It is not infectious to other cats or people. Duncan has been on treatment for a year and has substantially improved. We could do a foster-to-adopt situation if you are interested in Duncan! Duncan has no teeth so he prefers a pate-style wet food diet only.

Story
Sunny (foster to adopt)'s Story Sunny was returned after 5 years due to allergies and a move. He has been absolutely heartbroken and we want to make sure his next home is for the rest of his life!!! Due to some ongoing redness in his eyes, we are looking for a foster to adopt home that would adopt him once this medical issue is resolved. His vet is in West Lafayette. Sunny has some separation anxiety and takes an inexpensive daily supplement in a Churu! Fill out the adoption application if interested in learning more about the Sunny and if he might be the right fit for your home! https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Information about Sunny! This handsome boy is 7 years old and has the perfect balance of playful energy and loving affection. He’ll zoom around the house chasing toys one minute, then curl up in your lap the next, soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He’s incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and isn’t shy about asking for pets—he’ll even greet new people with friendly curiosity and instant affection. With his gentle nature and big personality, he’s truly the best companion you could ever hope for, ready to bring joy, comfort, and endless love to his new home. He comes with his own cat carrier and all his favorite toys to help him feel settled right away. Sunny has previously lived with another cat, but it's years, has no experience with dogs, and would not recommended for kids under teenage.

Story
Amora's Story Meet Amora, a 3 year-old tuxedo girl! She is good with both cats and dogs though must be fed separately or microchip feeders must be used as she has a sensitive stomach. She is currently eating Hill's Sensitive Skin & Stomach wet food with a fiber supplement 2x/day. As a girl with a bigger frame, she's eating 2 and 1/3 cans a day. Amora could do well as an only cat or with another playful cat that likes to tussle. Sweet and always dressed to impress, Amora's a great conversationalist. She often trills and chirps as she goes about her day. Confident and playful, she looooves to chase after a cat wand! She's a true acrobat and performs flying leaps in the name of playtime. When it's time for bed, she's happy to cuddle. Though she may try to lick your hair with her stinky fish breath! This gorgeous gal is currently in foster care. Story
It breaks our hearts to post, but we are looking for a new home for our sweet boy, Tigger. He is an orange tabby with the biggest, most expressive eyes, and he has been such a special part of our family since he was a kitten. We must find a new home for Tigger due to multiple family members developing allergies. Tigger is an indoor cat who enjoys lounging in sunny windowsills, keeping an eye on the world outside. Every now and then he likes a short, supervised trip outside - just enough to stretch, sniff, and soak in a bit of fresh air before returning inside for his next nap. He is a big fan of treats, and the quickest way to his heart is through a little snack and some kind words. He is friendly with people and patient with children. With that, Tigger can be a bit anxious in new situations - he will likely need some time and gentle encouragement to settle in. Once he feels safe, his sweet and affectionate side shines through.
