Luna is a sweet 5 year old girl who wants your love and cuddles! She was born April 2020 and we adopted her in December 2020. She is shy to start but warms up when she can trust you. She loves to play with toys and roll around in some cat nip. She is front declawed as well. She has a cat carrier, toys and tower that can come with her.

Story
Felix and his siblings came to us after being found as strays when they were around two months old. We believe Felix was born in August of 2021, and would do well with older children and other animals with proper introduction. Felix is one of 6 in his litter and he is the shy guy of the group. He is very quiet and a bit reserved, but does like to be petted once he knows you. He also enjoys cuddling with his kitty friends and would prefer to have a feline friend in his new home! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only. If you have any questions feel free to send us an email at freeborncohumanesociety@gmail.com, send us a message on Facebook, or call or text 507-377-8501.

Story
Gibson is a handsome boy, born mid-March 2025, that was found in the parking lot of Trails Truck Stop. He is calm and sweet, but he also loves to play with his new friends in the kitten room here at the shelter. After a hard day of playing, he is content to curl up with a friend for a nap. Could you be his new cuddle buddy? All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. Story
Georgia and her sisters came to us with their mother, surrendered by their caretaker. Georgia and her sisters are all beautiful orange tabbies. They all would prefer to go to a new home together or at least with another cat friend. Georgia is the shy one of the trio and definitely would need a cat friend in the home. They are sweet girls that would like a quiet, less hectic environment. Is Georgia the girl for you? All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. Francis and her siblings came to us in early June 2025 when they were only a month old. They are a loving playful bunch, but Francis is pretty independent and likes to have her snuggles and cuddles on her terms, thank you very much. She is a gorgeous brown tabby still in foster care for the time being, but is still hoping to find her forever Home for the Holidays!
