We believe she was once someone’s kitten, but when she went into heat, she was put outside to fend for herself. In March, we found her on our front porch at only about five months old. We hoped we had gotten to her in time before she became pregnant, but sadly we were wrong. Poor Sabrina delivered stillborn kittens shortly after coming into rescue. Since then, Miss Sabrina has been spayed, updated on her vaccines, and given the chance to finally feel safe and cared for. Despite everything she’s been through, Sabrina is still such a sweet girl. She currently lives with other cats and dogs and does well with them as long as they don’t bother her. She’s perfectly capable of standing her ground if needed, but overall she just wants a peaceful home where she can relax and be loved. Sabrina is a talkative little lady who enjoys pets and head scratches and will happily chat with you about her day. She’s not the biggest fan of being held, but she loves affection on her own terms. She’s independent, gentle, and deserves a family who will love her for the rest of her life. Some of his siblings have been adopted and some are still here with Heineken. Heineken currently lives with other cats and dogs, and gets along well with all of them. Heineken would prefer a home with another cat as he’s very social with his friends. Heineken does pretty good with people as well, sometimes he can be a little skittish, but if you’re sitting or in bed, he will definitely come visit for some attention. He definitely likes to play and he’s a big talker. He’s a little bit of love biter so probably not good for kids or at least young kids. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Frankie — or “Frankie Dankie,” as he’s lovingly called. Frankie started out as a street cat who was fed and slowly befriended over the course of a few years. One day he showed up limping, and it was clear it was time to step in and get him help. What began as a simple plan to TNR him turned into a full vet visit, where it was discovered he had an abscess from fighting and several old battle wounds. During his care, he was vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. Frankie tested FIV positive, but his bloodwork otherwise showed he is a healthy, stable cat. He was scheduled for neuter, and given how friendly he proved to be, it didn’t feel right to return him back outside. Frankie has since fully settled indoors and now has a space of his own. Initially nervous around dogs—likely from past negative experiences—he quickly realized they weren’t a threat and began relaxing in their presence. He now enjoys playing with other cats or entertaining himself with whatever he can find. He still has that “outdoor cat” curiosity and will often wait by the door, hoping for a chance to slip outside—but he’s safely enjoying the next best thing: a catio where he can watch birds and wildlife. Frankie is an affectionate, social boy who would do well as an only cat, but can also coexist with other cats given slow, proper introductions. More than anything, he deserves what every cat deserves: a safe, loving home where he can finally just be Frankie.
