Story

Loki was a stray kitten that I gave a home to, I’ve had him since 2018. He has no known health issues, and no issues using the litter box. He plays a little rough with other cats and is very playful in general, but is fine other wise. He hides when strangers come over, but warms up after a few visits. We had a baby almost a year ago, and Loki is not doing well with the baby at all. The baby just being here and crawling around is stressing Loki out to the point that he’s over grooming his belly and it’s now bald. He is showing slight aggression towards the baby that is slowly getting worse. I can’t give Loki anymore space away from the baby since we live in an apartment, so unfortunately there isn’t much I can do for him. He definitely needs to go to a home that doesn’t have any young children. We will send a litter box, some of his food, and a bunch of his favorite toys with him.

Meet Pyro! Pyro is a quiet, gentle girl who takes a little time to feel comfortable in new environments. In foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays event, she preferred to observe from a safe space at first, but with patience and tasty lickable treats, she began approaching on her own terms. Pyro does best when allowed to move at her own pace and will thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters.She came in with another cat, Sizzle, and looks to her for comfort. Because of this, Pyro and Sizzle are a bonded pair. We think since they would love nothing more than to be together, they are required to go home with one another! Pyro may also benefit from a confident, cat-social companion after a slow introduction. With Sizzle by her side, she should be just fine with that! Her most recent foster family said the two get along very well with the occasional friendly wrestling match!! She also says, `Pyro LOVES any sort of string! If she had it her way, she would chase after ribbon and shoelaces all day long. Pyro is a sweet girl with a huge personality. Like her sister Sizzle, she is very shy and timid. However, once she becomes more comfortable, she is the most playful and curious cat ever. She even gets the zoomies sometimes!` With time, consistency, and kindness, we just know Pyro-and her pal, Sizzle!-will blossom into loving companions. Interested in meeting this pair??
