This is Paws! He’s a 5 year old Domestic Shorthair, 16 lbs, & has an orange/white coloring. He’s been here for a few weeks now, but he’s finally come out of his shell enough to interact with us! He definitely didn’t take too well to adjusting to a shelter environment, but after a bit of time to get comfortable he’s doing much better! He’s still a pretty independent guy who likes to do his own thing most of the time, but he’ll come around for some lovin’ when he’s in the mood! He’d be a good fit for someone who just wants a cat to hang out with around the house, maybe catch some mice, & just keep them company (& also doesn’t own dogs!). Meet Koal! Koal is a feral cat who is becoming domestic. He is quiet, loves his wet food in the morning- he is waiting for you! He gets along with other cats and doesn't get worried when another cat jumps into his kennel with him (sometimes walks right across him!). He is curious and loves to explore on his own terms. He needs a patient adopter with more of a quiet home. A home with a rowdy or loud dog/kids would not work for him. With enough patience and time, he will become a lap cat!
