Story
Meet Kramer, the dashing pale orange kitten with a splash of white on his paws and face, and his buddy George, a bright orange tabby who’s just as handsome! These two charming furballs were born in the winter of 2023 and entered rescue with their two siblings, all sporting names inspired by Seinfeld characters. Kramer is the life of the party! He adores playtime with humans and his fellow foster felines, plus he’s a belly rub enthusiast who loves to snuggle up. George, on the other paw, starts off a bit shy but warms up to cuddles and belly rubs like a champ. He’s got that playful sparkle in his eye! These dynamic duo are on the lookout for a forever home where they can stick together, supporting each other through new adventures. They need a human who’s ready to shower them with just the right amount of love and make them feel safe and cozy. And here’s the cherry on top: since they want to stick together, their adoption fee is just $50 each (that’s a bargain at $106.88 with tax)! These boys come fully equipped with their spays/neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming, and updated vaccinations. Want to learn more about these lovable goofballs? Text their fabulous foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256 or apply at https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp. Let’s roll out the red carpet for these cuties and give them the loving home they truly deserve!February 18, 2025, 6:53 pm

Story
Ripley and Newt are on the hunt for their purr-fect forever home!  Their wishlist?  Endless cuddles and a playtime extravaganza!  These adorable siblings, who came to our rescue with their fabulous mom Sugar when they were just tiny furballs of 6 days old, are still waiting for their chance at a happily-ever-after.  Sugar has already snagged her forever home, but now it's all about Ripley (the playful princess) and Newt (the charming little rascal) who were born around May 1st, 2024, as the only stars in their litter! Newt (orange tabby/male) is a bundle of sweetness who loves to zoom around, making friends with foster cats and humans alike.  He's a snuggle bug that will leap into your arms and curl up on your lap faster than you can say "kitten cuddle)."  He dreams of a home with another furry buddy to share his adventures.  And then there's Ripley (brown tabby/female), the queen of playtime!  She adores frolicking with her fellow felines and human pals.  As Ripley can be a shy girl around new humans she will have the best chances of thriving in her new home with her main man, Newt, by her side.  As this dynamic duo is hoping to find a forever home together,  guess what?  The adoption fee gets slashed to just $50 each (totaling $106.88 with tax)! They're all set with their snazzy spays/neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming and are up to date on their kitten vaccinations.  Want to learn more about this adorable pair?  Text their amazing foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256 or apply at https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp  Let's give these cuties the loving home they deserve!February 18, 2025, 6:53 pm

Howard (the dashing tabby with a touch of white) and Sheldon (the charming white fella with tabby spots) are on the hunt for their forever castle! These two brotherly sidekicks are the last of our Big Bang Theory litter, that arrived in the spring of 2023. They’re a bit shy, so they’d love to stick together like peanut butter and jelly in their new home. Once they warm up, they’re playful, cuddly, and sweeter than a catnip cookie! And here’s the scoop: since they’re hoping to find a cozy nest together, their adoption fee is a steal at just $50 each (a total of $106.88 with tax)! These boys come fully loaded with their snazzy neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming, and up-to-date vaccinations. Want to know more about these adorable goofballs? Story
Sheldon is an adorable male white with tabby kitten, who came into rescue with 4 siblings, all named after characters from the Big Bang Theory.  The litter was rescued from under a garden shed.  They were born in the spring of 2023.  Like his namesake, Sheldon Cooper, he is a bit reserved around people, especially strangers.  Once he is comfortable, he becomes a pillow that wants a squeeze.  He likes to play, cuddle, be pet--all the normal cat things.  Because Sheldon will likely be quite nervous moving to a new home, it would be ideal for him to go to a family who has experience with cats or who is willing to be patient with him while he learns to be comfortable in his new surroundings.  He is great with other cats and would love to go home with one of his siblings.    Sheldon will only be adopted as an indoor family pet.  He has been neutered, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all his age-appropriate kitten shots.  For more information on Sheldon or to adopt him, please text any questions to his foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256, or you can apply at https://bit.l/HSSCJackiesapp.  Sheldon's adoption fee is $75 plus tax ($80.16) but if he is adopted with another kitten the fee is reduced to $50 per kitten ($106.88).  November 2, 2024, 2:24 pm

Story
Say a big, fuzzy "Hello!" to Boo & Squeak!  This dynamic duo is on the hunt for their forever home, but they're facing a little hiccup because they're FIV positive.  No need to panic, though!  FIV is more of a "meh" than a "woah!" Let us spill the beans on these two cuties and their FIV superpowers.  Boo and Squeak joined out rescue family at the end of May, born around the beginning of April 2024.  These pals tested positive for FIV and quickly became best buds---its' been a love fest ever since!  Boo is a charming pale orange tabby with a splash of white, while Squeak is a stunning dilute calico flaunting lovely grey, white and a few peachy spots.   These playful kittens are bursting with energy and love soaking up human attention!  Boo is the ultimate hug-seeker, always ready to charm you into a cuddle.   So...What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  Once infected, there is no cure or treatment for FIV.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.   Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who test positive for FIV live just as long as FIV-negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV infected cats can live many years without any health problems.  Transmission:  FIV is mainly passed from cat to cat through deep bite wounds, the kind that usually occur outdoors during aggressive fights and territorial disputes.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water bowl or grooming each other will not spread FIV.  It is unlikely that cats in households with stable social structure will acquire FIV from an FIV+ cat.  Adoption:  Cats who test positive for FIV are often euthanized or are considered unadoptable.  FIV+ cats are just like other cats.  They all have unique personalities and will provide you with years of love, companionship and laughter.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent catching an illness.  They should be spayed or neutered and fed a balanced diet, like all cats should.  A wellness veterinary exam should be done annually to ensure your FIV+ cat's ultimate health. Remember...FIV+ CATS NEED LOVE TOO! Boo & Squeak will be adopted as indoor only family pets.  /they have been neutered/spayed, tested negative for Fe-leuk, have been dewormed and are up to date on all age-appropriate kitten shots.  As this duo is hoping to find a forever home together, the adoption fee gets slashed to just $50 each (totaling $106.88 with tax)!  For more information, please text any questions to foster mom, Jackie, at 320-761-0256 or you can apply at https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp.  February 18, 2025, 6:32 pm
