Story
Meet Dahlia, the charming little furball with a white and gray coat, just 8 months young.  She has been in foster since she was 3.5 months young.  She’s a bit of a wallflower around humans but is a playful whirlwind with her feline pals. Dahlia dreams of a forever home with a fellow kitty or alongside one of her foster buddies, where she can blossom with a sprinkle of patience and a pinch of love.   Dahlia will only be adopted as an indoor family pet. She has been spayed, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all her age-appropriate shots. For more information on Dahlia or to adopt her, please text any question to foster mom, Jackie at 320-761-0256 or you can apply at  https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp . Dahlia’s adoption fee is $75 plus tax ($80.16), but if she is adopted with another cat the adoption fee is reduced to $50 per cat plus tax (total $106.88). February 21, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
Howard (the dashing tabby with a touch of white) and Sheldon (the charming white fella with tabby spots) are on the hunt for their forever castle! These two brotherly sidekicks are the last of our Big Bang Theory litter, that arrived in the spring of 2023.  Yes, they have been in foster for almost 2 years now!!  They're a bit shy, so they'd love to stick together like peanut butter and jelly in their new home. Once they warm up, they're playful, cuddly, and sweeter than a catnip cookie! And here's the scoop: since they're hoping to find a cozy nest together, their adoption fee is a steal at just $50 each (a total of $106.88 with tax)! These boys come fully loaded with their snazzy neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming, and up-to-date vaccinations. Want to know more about these adorable goofballs?  Shoot a text to the Humane Society of Swift County at 320-808-3497.  Let's roll out the welcome mat for these cuties and give them the loving home they deserve!February 21, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
Patches is available for adoption!  He is an adorable fluffy male tabby about 6 months old, born fall of 2025. Patches loves to play and cuddle and gets along well with other cats and kittens.  However, he does have some special needs, please read his entire profile before letting those adorable eyes steal your heart!   Patches was found on the side of a highway outside of Benson in the winter, he was very cold, could barely open his eyes and covered in matted fur.  He quickly received vet care, was given access to warmth and unlimited food and he cleaned up very well.  He does have one ear tip that is permanently flopped over due to frostbite to add some character.  He was then given his standard vaccines and neutered. After being neutered it was noticed that he was not using his litter box and a vet was consulted regarding urinary and digestion issues.  He was given medication and supplements to address and a urinary tract infection and bacteria.  Unfortunately, he still does have crystals in his urine which is a longer-term issue currently being dealt with.  He is on a urinary diet, and we are hopeful that at some point that crystals would fully dissolve and he would be able to transition to a non-prescription diet.  A potential adopter should be prepared to supply prescription Science Diet c/d food, both wet and dry for several months and possible longer.  Additionally, this will need to be continued to managed with a vet and these visits and testing of urine samples will come with additional costs for any potential adopter.  Patches has been using the litter box again however he does sometimes urinate on washable puppy pads in front of the litter box.  This behavior may go away with the urinary crystals but is otherwise easy to manage and only adds a couple loads of laundry each week.   Patches will be adopted as an indoor only family pet.  He has been neutered, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, been dewormed and is up to date on all his age-appropriate shots. To start the adoption process please call or text the Humane Society at (320) 808-3497.  The adoption fee is $75 plus tax ($80.16), but if adopting 2 kittens the adoption fee is reduced to $50 per cat plus tax (total $106.88).February 27, 2026, 1:59 pm

Story
Meet Kramer and George.  Kramer is the dashing pale orange kitten with a splash of white on his paws and face, and his buddy George is the bright orange tabby who's just as handsome! These two charming furballs were born in the winter of 2023 (yes--over a year now) and entered rescue with their two siblings, all sporting names inspired by Seinfeld characters. Kramer is the life of the party! He adores playtime with humans and his fellow foster felines, plus he's a belly rub enthusiast who loves to snuggle up. George, on the other paw, starts off a bit shy but warms up to cuddles and belly rubs like a champ. He's got that playful sparkle in his eye! These dynamic duo are on the lookout for a forever home where they can stick together, supporting each other through new adventures. They need a human who's ready to shower them with just the right amount of love and make them feel safe and cozy. And here's the cherry on top: since they want to stick together, their adoption fee is just $50 each (that's a bargain at $106.88 with tax)! These boys come fully equipped with their spays/neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming, and updated vaccinations. Want to learn more about these lovable goofballs? Text or call the Humane Society of Swift County at 320-808-3497.  Let's roll out the red carpet for these cuties and give them the loving home they truly deserve!February 21, 2026, 4:05 pm
