Story
Elena was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. She is a beautiful floofy little lady who is quite timid, which means that the hustle & bustle of shelter life has her quite anxious. Despite her worry, Elena is a sweet girl who responds well to soft voices and gentle head petting. She has the smallest meow which she deploys every time someone she considers a friend opens her cabin door. Elena is quite affectionate once she trusts you; she just needs to feel safe and then she is a HUGE fan of petting. We suspect she'll be a cuddler too once she has decompressed and is comfortable in her fur-ever home. Elena is a HUGE fan of Churu snack tubes, which her friends use to help her find her happy place. She will likely never be the cat who comes to the door to greet your visitors, but she is going to love her person of family in a BIG way, and the right person will know that she is worth waiting for. Come meet sweet but shy Elena today! If you'd like to meet Elena and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.08 Age: 0yrs 6mths 2wks

Good with cats,
Story
Ricky was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He is SUCH a nice boy and a lot of fun to spend time with! He's got everyone around here (well, those of us of a certain age) singing Steely Dan's "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" to him every time we see him. And luckily he doesn't mind this, in fact, we think he likes it because it means he's getting more attention. And Ricky LOVES attention! This boy also has a deep and abiding love of Churu snack tubes - he can snarf down two full tubes in the time it takes for another cat to take their first taste. He has expressed a hope that his future person or family knows how to find this delicious snack treat and that they will be willing to keep him supplied with it. we do not know Ricky's previous history with other cats, but he was living in a cat colony room at his previous shelter and got along just fine with the variety of felines there. Gorgeous and friendly Ricky cannot wait to finally have his fur-ever home - come down & meet him today! If you'd like to meet Ricky and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 3.95 Age: 3yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Holden was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He is a relatively large cat at 10.4 pounds, and he has THE TINIEST meow. It is SO adorable the first time you hear Holden talk, since his size makes you expect a much louder sound. But no, he's just a big man with a little voice, and we love it! Holden is social, friendly, and very very handsome. He was wonderfully behaved for his veterinary exam and his veterinarian is now the head of the Holden Fan Club - I mean, this cat even took pills easily! We don't know his previous history with cats, but Holden was living in a cat colony room at his previous shelter & he got along well with the other felines there. This gorgeous young fellow cannot wait to have a person or family to play with him and shower him with all the affection he's been craving. Come meet Holden today & help him live his dream! If you'd like to meet Holden and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Muggles was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He is a little dreamboat - very social, very friendly, and very charming! Muggles is what we like to call a "teenage kitten" - he is close to adult-sized, but his brain is nowhere near adult maturity, LOL! This silly boy still gets up to kittenish hijinks like jumping into the sink, racing around the room with the zoomies, and playing with anything he can get his paws on. He was living in a colony cat room at his previous shelter and did very well with the other cats there. If you have a resident feline, Muggles will likely be hopeful they will play with him. He is an absolutely darling lad who is going to bring lots of love & laughter to his new home! If you'd like to meet Muggles and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Bossy was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. We ADORE this girl - she is sweet, opinionated, and very sure of herself. With a name like Bossy, we expected her to be a tortoiseshell or a calico, but this adorable stripey fluffball still manages to live up to her name. Bossy is a benevolent ruler - she rewards you for your good choices with a lovely purr and a friendly cuddle. She is a little peanut at just over 7 pounds, but her purrsonality so so big, sometimes you forget how smol she is. Our playful queen Bossy LOVES to get silly with toys, especially fuzzy mouse toys and anything with feathers. She will give bonus points to anyone who has a Cat Dancer toy ready and waiting for her, and folks who can offer her Churu snack tubes also get a five star review. She might be tiny, but Bossy sure can put away a tube of Churu when given the chance! We don't know her history with other cats, but she was living in a cat colony room at her previous shelter & getting along fine with the other cats there. Come meet the next Queen of Your World today - Bossy is waiting for her purrfect castle! If you'd like to meet Bossy and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Mittens was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. If you've been waiting for a sweet but shy tuxedo girl, Mittens would love to meet you! well technically she'll be a little nervous to meet you, but if you approach her calmly & speak in a gentle voice, she'll perk her little head up with interest. Mittens enjoys gentle head scratches from her potential friends, and it is clear that she would like to make a connection with a human. We believe that once she is in a quieter environment with less hustle & bustle, she will eventually feel comfortable enough to show more of her true, sweet purrsonality. She will likely never be the cat who greets your visitors at the door, but we do think that she will be a wonderful & loving companion for her chosen person or people. If you'd like to meet Mittens and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
