Story
Smokie was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This extremely lovable senior gentleman loves people - he will lock eyes with you as if to say "Do you have any petting for me?" And he's pretty irresistible with his loud rumbly purr, especially when he tucks his head under your hand to encourage more petting. Smokie is looking for a home with someone who is ready to cherish a cat whose age is in double digits...he has requested at least one human to cuddle with, lots of snuggly beds and fleecy blankets for when his human is unavailable, and perhaps a sunny spot near a window where he can monitor the birds and squirrels for you. In turn, Smokie will reward you with a deep and abiding love and all the cuddles you can handle. If Smokie sounds like the cat for you, come on down to the NHSPCA - this guy is ready & waiting to say hi to you!If you'd like to meet Smokie and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Blue Weight: 5.3 Age: 11yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Tango will be 13 years old in April. He was raised in a loving home with multiple dogs and other cats, but the other cats were females. We now have another male cat and they were fine until the other male developed a serious heart condition. Tango has become agressive towards him. We feel, now that he is older, he'd do better being the only cat and possibly an only pet. He is due for some shots in April and we will make sure he is all up to date before handing him over. FYI, he loves belly rubs.

Story
Olaf & his brother Snicker were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. They adore each other and love to sleep in a brother cuddle puddle, so they must be adopted together. Olaf is the worried brother - he is not a fan of the hustle & bustle of shelter life & cannot wait to have a fur-ever home where he can decompress & show off his true purrsonality. Olaf does seem to gain more confidence when he is with his brother, allowing the outgoing Snicker to capture a human's attention & then shyly accepting some attention for himself. Our boys cannot wait to get into their fur-ever home - come meet them today! If you'd like to meet Snicker, Olaf, and all of their friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Tommy Boy & his housemate Lolita were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Their owner was forced to surrender them when she had to move and could not find appropriate housing. She was hoping that Tommy Boy & Lolita could stay together, but it turns out that in every living situation we have tried them in, Lolita picks on Tommy, so we suspect he would rather not hang out with her in his new life. Tommy Boy is a shy but extremely sweet fellow; his previous owner reports that he is very loving but not a big cuddler. What Tommy Boy does enjoy from his human friends is belly rubs. That's right, once this handsome lad trusts you, he'll flop over on his side and offer his glorious belly up for some petting. When Tommy is comfortable, he is also a talker who will share his innermost thoughts and feelings with you through a series of meows. He lived with Lolita for 2 years and is currently living in a colony cat room where he is getting along well with the other cats there. Come down and meet this handsome beefcake today - Tommy Boy is waiting for you!If you'd like to meet Tommy Boy and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Moy was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This social & friendly boy loves nothing more than to solicit human attention. He is always thrilled to make a new human friend and will happily head butt your hand to encourage you to pet him. We do not know his history with cats, but he is currently living in a cat colony room and doing well with the other cats there. He knows to listen when tiny Lolita tells him what to do, LOL! Moy has enjoyed playing with fuzzy mouse toys during his time with us, and he especially seems to like toys that involve feathers. This affectionate lad cannot wait to bring his purrsonal brand of stripey goodness to your home - come say hi to Moy today! If you'd like to meet Moy and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). She was hoping that Tommy Boy & Lolita could stay together, but it turns out that in every living situation we have tried them in, Lolita picks on Tommy, so we suspect he would rather not hang out with her in his new life. Lolita is a bold and outgoing little lady who is not afraid to ask for petting. She is very curious and will want to investigate anything she finds interesting, which is pretty much everything. She former owner reports that Lolita is a VERY loving girl who is a HUGE cuddle bug.
