Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is a reserved and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust, especially after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn especially loves sitting with someone while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn was recently diagnosed with cystitis, but with an antibiotic and isolating her from the stress of the other cats, she’s doing wonderfully now. Our vet said her bladder is a bit smaller than most cats, but they feel it happens because she is stressed being around all the other cats at the rescue.  She does not need to be on a special prescription dry food, but a high quality urinary dry food will be helpful.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Antonio - Male Neutered DOB 5/27/2022 Domestic Short Hair White with Tabby Tail - Antonio is a gentle sweetheart who’s been through a bit of a journey and is now hoping to find his forever family. He was adopted as a kitten but ended up being returned to us through no fault of his own due to home circumstances changing. Understandably, he’s a little shy at first and will need a bit of time and patience to adjust to a new environment—but once he feels safe, his soft personality begins to shine.  He has been spending some time in a foster home lately and seems to enjoy being around some calm female cats but doesn't care to be around male cats where they tend to be dominating over him. He loves a good head/chin scratch and will happily accept gentle pets, though he’s not too fond of being picked up. He enjoys playing with wand toys, especially a ribbon wand, but is also a very calm, laidback kitty.  He was recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and is currently on daily medication and special dry food to help his body adjust.  He does love his wet food which doesn't need to be anything special.  Luckily most of his medication he will eat crushed up in a squeeze up paste treat, and otherwise, he is easy to give the liquid to. Antonio would be happiest in a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace. One of his favorite things is lounging by a sunny window, watching the birds and soaking up the warmth—so if you’ve got a good perch, he’ll be in heaven. Antonio would do best with a chill female kitty friend and a quiet home where he can feel relaxed.  He would need a home with no kids and a dog-free home is a must.  If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a gentle soul and a love for sunbeams, Antonio might just be your perfect match. Story
Chelsea - Female DOB 6/7/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black and White Chelsea is sweet as sugar, with just a pinch of silly. Take one look at her little face and you might swear she has tiny buck teeth. She doesn’t — it’s just her adorable vibe, and we’re quite obsessed. She’s a gentle girl who likes her world calm and predictable. New spaces can be a bit overwhelming at first, but she’s quicker to adjust than you'd think. Give her a quiet house, a cozy bed, and a soft voice, and she’s yours.  Chelsea was previously bonded with another male kitten she spent time with in her southern foster, but they haven't really been bonded since being in the rescue with other kitties.  She loves to run and jump in your lap once she sees you sit on the floor or in a chair and just purr herself to sleep. Chelsea is very playful and would love a large area home to romp around in. She would need to go home with another kitty friend, or to a home with another calm, friendly kitty.  She would love a home without dogs or young kids.  Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Yeti - Male DOB 3/31/2024 Domestic Short Hair - White Unlike the mysterious creature he’s named after, this Yeti doesn’t hide—he’s happiest right by your side. A calm and easygoing kitty, Yeti enjoys the simple pleasures: a gentle brushing session, a cozy perch by the window, or just being near his favorite people. He will quietly make himself part of your day without demanding the spotlight.  Yeti has settled in more and more now, and showing us who he really is, but what we’ve seen so far is a sweet, steady guy who values security and affection.  Yeti has become a very playful kitty, playing with the other kitties like he never got to be a kitten himself.  Yeti will need to go home with his buddy George.  They seem to enjoy each other and playing together which would make them a great pair to go home together.  They would also do fine with other cats in the home.  It shouldn't take him too long to adjust to his new surroundings, but once he does he's the sweet cat that loves attention.  They would probably be ok with a cat-friendly dog with a slow introduction and older children who have been around cats before and know when to give them space. If you’ve been hoping for a low-key, but playful friend who will be content to watch the world go by at your side, Yeti may be the mythical match you’ve been searching for. Story
Willow - Female DOB 5/28/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Gray and White Willow and Casey are two little buddies who have truly grown up side-by-side, so they’re looking for a home together. Willow is the gray-and-white girl with the sweet, gentle energy. She was born with a mild wobble (CH), which just gives her a bit of extra character when she walks or plays. It doesn’t bother her or slow her down — she just moves through the world in her own adorable way. She can be shy when she first arrives somewhere new, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate and will happily be part of whatever you’re doing. Casey, the dilute calico, is the more outgoing one. She’s the brave explorer of the pair and the first to walk up and say hello. She also helps Willow come out of her shell, which is part of why they’re so good for each other. They play, nap, and follow each other around like siblings who actually like each other. Both girls love other cats and would fit in well with a calm feline crew. They’d be happiest in a home without dogs, and older respectful kids are totally fine. Willow really benefits from a quieter home where she can warm up at her own pace. She also gets a little overly enthusiastic in the litter box, so a high-sided box without a lid works best for her wobbly legs.   She would do best without a lot of stairs in the home that she would have to navigate up and down. These two are just… easy to love. They’re fun, affectionate, silly in all the right ways, and so bonded that you can’t imagine one without the other. If you’ve been thinking about adopting a pair, they’re the kind of duo that makes your house feel a little more like home.
