Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is a reserved and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust, especially after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn especially loves sitting with someone while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn was recently diagnosed with cystitis, but with an antibiotic and isolating her from the stress of the other cats, she’s doing wonderfully now. Our vet said her bladder is a bit smaller than most cats, but they feel it happens because she is stressed being around all the other cats at the rescue.  She does not need to be on a special prescription dry food, but a high quality urinary dry food will be helpful.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Tina - Female DOB 4/15/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black Meet Tina and Dianna, sisters who are basically tiny, fuzzy tornadoes of joy. These young black panthers are always on the move, chasing toys, chasing each other, and sometimes just running around for the fun of it. They’re full of energy, curiosity, and that delightful kitten mischief that makes everything feel a little brighter. Once she finally tires out, Tina is the first to curl up in your lap and melt into a puddle of purrs. She has a few more white hairs than her sister, which helps tell them apart when they’re not a blur of playful motion. Dianna is equally adventurous and just as sweet, always ready to pounce or play and then look at you like you're the best thing in the world. They're both still small, smaller than they look in photos, and would enjoy a home with other cats, gentle dogs, or kids who understand how to play kindly with kittens. If your home has room for a little chaos, a lot of laughter, and two affectionate shadows who just want to be where you are, Tina and Dianna would love to meet you! Story
Antonio - Male Neutered DOB 5/27/2022 Domestic Short Hair White with Tabby Tail - Antonio is a gentle sweetheart who’s been through a bit of a journey and is now hoping to find his forever family. He was adopted as a kitten but ended up being returned to us through no fault of his own due to home circumstances changing. Understandably, he’s a little shy at first and will need a bit of time and patience to adjust to a new environment—but once he feels safe, his soft personality begins to shine.  He has been spending some time in a foster home lately and seems to enjoy being around some calm female cats but doesn't care to be around male cats where they tend to be dominating over him. He loves a good head/chin scratch and will happily accept gentle pets, though he’s not too fond of being picked up. He enjoys playing with wand toys, especially a ribbon wand, but is also a very calm, laidback kitty.  He was recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and is currently on daily medication and special dry food to help his body adjust.  He does love his wet food which doesn't need to be anything special.  Luckily most of his medication he will eat crushed up in a squeeze up paste treat, and otherwise, he is easy to give the liquid to. Antonio would be happiest in a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace. One of his favorite things is lounging by a sunny window, watching the birds and soaking up the warmth—so if you’ve got a good perch, he’ll be in heaven. Antonio would do best with a chill female kitty friend and a quiet home where he can feel relaxed.  He would need a home with no kids and a dog-free home is a must.  If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a gentle soul and a love for sunbeams, Antonio might just be your perfect match. Story
Lucas - Male DOB 5/11/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black and White Tuxedo Lucas was plucked from a southern cat colony as a kitten.  He is very sweet once he settles in and gets comfortable in his surroundings.  He is a bit shy at first but once he feels safe, he is pure sunshine wrapped in fur… a happy-go-lucky little guy who finds joy in just about everything.  Once he settles in he will even give you kisses.  He loves to play and run with the other kitties.  He is a little more on the chill side than the crazy kitten playful energy. Lucas would thrive in a home with another playful cat who can help him feel safe and settle in. If you don’t have a resident cat yet, no worries — he has plenty of buddies at the rescue who’d love to tag along with him. He would do best with no dogs or young kids where he can become scared with loud noises and situations. Story
Darla - Female DOB 5/4/2025 Domestic Long Hair - Tortoiseshell Tumble and Darla have been side by side since foster care, and it’s clear how much comfort they find in each other. We often see them moving through the room together or adorably settling into the same quiet spot, so they’ll need to go home as a pair. Tumble is the buff-colored girl who had a rough start early on. She’s fully healed now, but she’s still a sensitive soul and takes a little time to feel comfortable in new spaces. She’s very sweet and does enjoy being petted… she just needs slow movements and patience while she settles in. When Darla is nearby, you can almost see Tumble relax a little more. Darla is shy at first too, but once she’s comfortable, she’s all affection. She has long, silky fur and a gentle way about her. She will find comfort in laying in your lap if you sit on the floor or near her.  She loves wand toys, darting through tunnels, and then curling up close when playtime is over. One of our favorite things is finding her curled into a little ball next to her person during quiet TV time, completely content. These two would do well in a calm home as your only kitties where Darla will sometimes show her "tortitude" if other cats are in her space. No dogs or young children.  Older, respectful children who understand when to give them space may be okay. Story
Finn - Male Neutered DOB 5/30/2021 Domestic Short Hair Black/Tan & White Tabby  Finn is a gentle, shy guy searching for a calm, patient forever home. He thrives best in a tranquil environment without children or dogs, but is a great candidate for living with another friendly female kitty companion, his shy girlfriend Baby, who is also residing in our quiet room with Finn.  Finn and Baby didn't know each other when he got surrendered back to us, and became very fond of each other, often seen grooming each other and laying together. Finn loves to spend his time hanging out on the kuranda tower, or snuggling under a warm blanket or cat bed, feeling safe in his cozy spots. With a lot of attention and encouragement at the rescue, he has blossomed into a very affectionate, but shy guy. He responds with soft meows when you lift his bed and talk to him, basking in your affection; it's so endearing! Finn also enjoys coming out from under his overturned kitty bed, rolling over for pets and belly rubs. Adapting to a new home will take Finn and Baby some time, so patience and understanding are key to helping them feel secure and loved. He has ventured out into our bigger main room a few times, so he is getting more brave, but still feels safer retreating into his smaller quiet room. His ideal home would offer quiet surroundings, sunny windows for them to lounge by, and no dogs or children. With love and time, Finn is sure to transform into a devoted and loving companion.  Finn and Baby have become quite bonded and we would love to see them go home together!  The duo will often be seen together laying under an overturned bed cuddled up together. They will groom each other and bask in their newly found friendship!
