Story
Patches is a regal senior kitty that wants peace and quiet.  She loves nothing more than sitting in her rocking chair surveying her domain. Patches wants to be the only pet.  She, rightfully so, believes she deserves all the attention.  She prefers you do not pick her up, but loves back scratches and her head and chin getting a good scratch. Patches prefers only dry food and lots of fresh water. She was surrendered due to her elderly owner having to move in with family.  She will need grooming with her luxurious long coat. Could you be the person she’s been waiting for?

It’s all about Haila! Hoping she finds her forever family soon! foster notes: "-She is smart, sweet, sassy and playful. -Cleans her plate immediately and always wants more. -She will drink from a fountain and a bowl -After 4-5 days in foster she let us know she has a voice and will talk back. -She loves playing with her mice and balls to the point she will keep herself occupied for 30 to 60 minutes! She can throw her toys a couple of feet up in the air. -She has just started to jump up on the couch and visit humans for a couple of seconds. -She is full of energy and patting/scratching is on her terms only. She is gentle unless you don’t retreat. -Can still be a little timid every now and then. -Not a lap cat yet but she gently touches you with her nose and tickles your face when she plays alarm clock at 4 am -She is a great jumper and loves to be up high including the kitchen counter/sink. -She is great about using her enclosed litter box with flip door. -She isn’t afraid of most loud noises and is cautious of strangers at first." Come meet her!!

Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is an affectionate cat, but is also an independent and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust.  She ended up in a southern shelter after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn likes to be around people, and prefers to hang out nearby, and not necessarily on your lap.  She loves head rubs and will also allow belly rubs when she's feeling especially lovey.  She loves to have an audience while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn is a great companion, but also with her independent side, does not need someone home all day to give her constant attention.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food due primarily from stress of being around other cats.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy.
