Story
This handsome boy is Sven! Sven originally came to us as a stray in 2015, and eventually found his way back to us. Sven is gentle, sweet, and a big fan of dinnertime. (and treats!) He has a calm demeanor and a goofy, loyal personality like Sven from Frozen! Sven has experience with other cats, but would need to go to a home with no young children. At 10 years old, he is looking for a quiet home that will give him the love, attention, and treats that he deserves. Come in during our open adoption hours to meet Sven!

Story
Did Lightning strike you with his sweet face? This boy is about 8-years-old, and his life has not been the easiest. He first arrived at our shelter in June 2025 due to no fault of his own. He spent some time in a foster home, where they reported his sweet and adventurous personality. Lightning began to show some issues with his mobility, and with further diagnostics we concluded that he has chronic patellar luxation. This is when the kneecap repeatedly slides out of place causing low mobility. Lightning will have lifelong mobility limitations and will also need to continue to lose weight. Despite this, Lightning just wants to live a normal, happy life alongside a loving family. If you are interested in giving Lightning the love and care he deserves, our medical team will be happy to explain his needs further with you. Come in during our open adoption hours to meet Lightning!

Story
These cats are not well-suited as indoor only pets and can help families looking for natural rodent and pest control on their property. Because they are independent, they do best as indoor/outdoor cats. These cats typically enjoy free access to the outdoors, where they can come and go at will. Territorial by nature, they’ll rarely venture far from their home. They understand the safety of shelter and predictability of a food source in the shed, barn or garage where they are housed and fed. Barn cats do best in groups. Like all cats, outdoor cats require: – Shelter from predators and the elements – Clean, fresh water – Healthy, regular diet – Veterinary care when needed As an adopter, you should understand that these cats are unlikely to become social, affectionate lap cats. They will most likely remain shy and skittish around people but may warm up to those who take care of them, particularly those who feed them. Our outdoor cats are: – Spayed/Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – Have tested negative for FeLV/FIV

Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is a reserved and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust, especially after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn especially loves sitting with someone while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn was recently diagnosed with cystitis, but with an antibiotic and isolating her from the stress of the other cats, she’s doing wonderfully now. Our vet said her bladder is a bit smaller than most cats, but they feel it happens because she is stressed being around all the other cats at the rescue.  She does not need to be on a special prescription dry food, but a high quality urinary dry food will be helpful.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Tina - Female DOB 4/15/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black Meet Tina and Dianna, sisters who are basically tiny, fuzzy tornadoes of joy. These young black panthers are always on the move, chasing toys, chasing each other, and sometimes just running around for the fun of it. They’re full of energy, curiosity, and that delightful kitten mischief that makes everything feel a little brighter. Once she finally tires out, Tina is the first to curl up in your lap and melt into a puddle of purrs. She has a few more white hairs than her sister, which helps tell them apart when they’re not a blur of playful motion. Dianna is equally adventurous and just as sweet, always ready to pounce or play and then look at you like you're the best thing in the world. They're both still small, smaller than they look in photos, and would enjoy a home with other cats, gentle dogs, or kids who understand how to play kindly with kittens. If your home has room for a little chaos, a lot of laughter, and two affectionate shadows who just want to be where you are, Tina and Dianna would love to meet you!
