“Beautiful Angel” I got a call last week about two cats that were soon to be homeless and put outdoors because their owner’s passed away. When I found out “Angel” was a senior and only has “3 legs”, I said I would take both Angel and the other cat named “Lucky”. It was an hour drive to Atwell Ohio, but I made it and picked up both cats. Both are very loving and affectionate cats. They are “not” a bonded pair. Angel is a beautiful Russian Blue mix cat. She is 12 years old, spayed and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. She is a sweet cat and is so content just snuggling on my sofa. “Lucky Boy” This handsome boy found himself in a serious predicament when “both” of his owners passed away recently. There was no one in the family that could take Lucky into their home, and he was at risk of being abandoned outdoors. Lucky must be part Irish because he was lucky enough to find his way to my rescue. He is a good boy, very friendly with beautiful green eyes. He is about 4 years old and is a handsome gray tabby with white. He is neutered, vaccinated and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. He is comfortable around my dogs and gets along with most cats. Luck, Luck as I call him, romps around and likes to play like a kitten. He also enjoys quiet times sleeping on the sofa with me. Managua, who we have always called Magill, is an older cat who is very energetic and affectionate. He loves to interact with people and has a great personality. Magill is one of four animals, a dog and three cats, who were the companions of my late sister. After a lifetime of working with kids going through difficult times and trying to help them, she took early retirement because of heath problems. In retirement, she lived with and loved her animal companions. When she passed on, we have worked to find good homes for all her animal companions. Magill is the last one who needs a home.
