Beautiful bonded brothers need a loving homeTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Donovan and Captain are bonded brothers who need a loving home that will allow them to be together forever.  You see, both these boys are a bit shy at first.  They will need someone who can give them time to adjust to their new home and environment.  They have come along way in foster care.  Donovan sleeps with his foster mom and curls up on the couch next to her, he did not do any of that when he was first rescued.  Captain is so sweet but he is just timid.  He will get some pets and loving from his foster mom but it is on his terms.    Captain and Donovan are always playing together, sleeping together, basically they do most things together.  They are so much fun to watch and provide hours of entertainment.  As stated above, they will need time to adjust to their new home but once they are comfortable, what a great feeling it will be to know you gave these boys a chance they deserve so much.     Approx. birth date: 4/1/21 Foster: MG  April 26, 2024, 10:49 am

I'm a super special kitty! To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html A HOM volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Hi, my name is Marla. I am DSH calico female cat. My birthday is approximately 10/01/20. I was rescued along with my mom and much younger siblings. We were all living outside! I am partially blind, but that doesn't slow me down one bit. I am curious, and adventurous, I love other kitties, and climbing cat trees (although I sometimes need help getting down) I love new toys and meeting new friends. I have a buddy named Rambo, and he has taken me under his wing. He plays with me, grooms me all the time, and wrestles up a storm. It would be great to be adopted with him and to have a family to love and take care of us forever and ever. I love pets and attention, but get a bit nervous being picked up and held. I love to nibble your ankles and feet and paw at you for attention. My biggest wish is to find a wonderful family to keep me safe and well-loved. Joy is a confident happy kittyTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Joy has been in foster care her whole life. Joy is sweet and loving and will seek out attention and ask to be pet.  But it is a bit of a process with her. Joy had a tough start so initially she has a bit of fear to overcome.  Shy and fearful cats are overlooked all to often in rescue.  If someone would give Joy a chance, you will see the wonderful cat she has blossomed into. Joy is ready to find a family that will give her a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings and who can offer her companionship that will help to boost her confidence.   Approx. birth date: 9/9/2022 Foster:  MGApril 26, 2024, 10:49 am

Bright has turned into a princeTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Bright has been in foster care since he was a kitten.  He was so shy that nobody wanted to adopt him.  My how things have changed. Now Bright may still be shy at first.  He may need some time to adapt to his new environment.  But once he does, look out because here comes a handsome, soft, and loving cat.  Bright has a best friend in foster care and her name is Scarlett.  Although they are not related, they look alike and they love to play together. Bright is a big boy now and he is ready for his forever family.    Approx. birth date: 9/9/2022 Foster:  MGApril 26, 2024, 10:49 am

Story
Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 8lbs

Story
Christmas is a beautiful gray and white kitten born into Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue on Christmas Eve 2022.  She has lovely copper eyes, and a white chest and belly.  Christmas is a very active little girl that loves being with her siblings.  She is the most verbal of her brothers and sisters, and she loves to snuggle with them.   Christmas is not a lap cat, but she is a wonderful companion cat and loves to lay next to her favorite human.  She prefers if you just give her head pets and play with her.  Throw a ball or a stuffed mouse, and she will capture it!   Christmas is a little more aloof than her siblings, and more verbal, and would do well with a companion kitty such as one of her siblings.  Come meet this friendly little girl and see if she is a good fit for you and your family!   Interested in adopting Christmas or one of our other wonderful kitties? Please visit www.VivaLosGatosCatRescue.org and complete our no-obligation, online adoption application from any PC or mobile device. Viva Los Gatos is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and adopts to residents of Northeast Ohio. Adoptions to residents outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis.
