“Handsome Chase” Chase is a handsome cat that is estimated to be between 9-10 years old. He is affectionate but not demanding. He is laid back & quiet until the canned food comes out, and then he talks! Chase was acquired when a couple was evicted from their home and he was left behind. Lara is absolutely beautiful. Her pictures really don't do her any justice. She is about 3 years old, and has longer hair. Her coloring is black and white except for on her back there is a tint of brown mixed in. Very unusual and cool. A Good Samaritan noticed Lara living outdoors back in March. Most of male cats in the neighborhood are not neutered so no surprise she brought this person 5 beautiful kittens. All Kittens have gone to rescue, and now it is Lara’s time to find a safe and loving, forever home. With all the unneutered males I wasn't shocked that Lara has tested positive for FIV, and negative for leukemia.. FIV is a cat specific virus. It is spread from one cat to another via a deep bite wound. You cannot catch FIV. Cats can and do live full lifespans with FIV. LARA is a sweetheart and so deserving of a loving indoor home where she will be safe and loved. . She is also dog friendly, spayed and vaccinated. Lara is a bit shy but totally nonconfrontational. “Sweety Looking for Family to Love” This pretty lady is about 2 years old and a stunning silver/gray in color. Sweety was rescued from a bad situation where her previous owner was going to drown her because she was pregnant. Sweety came to my home and rescue where she delivered her babies safely, and all kittens found loving homes. Sweety is now waiting for her forever family to give her a chance and adopt her into their family. Sweety is extremely outgoing and social. This handsome older boy came to me last Fall. He had obviously been outdoors on his own for awhile. It is amazing what love and good nutrition and warmth can do to help an animal. Clyde also had a dental done and had quite a few teeth pulled. He is feeling much better now. Clyde has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for leukemia/FIV. Clyde is co-existing with my other cats and is a sweetheart and not the least bit shy. He is stunning, and his coat is filling in nicely. I adore him, and only the best home will do for him. “Who shot Gary”? Gary came to my rescue a couple weeks ago after someone shot him. His leg was so badly damaged it had to be amputated. I can’t even imagine the amount of pain that he had to be in. T You don’t have to like animals, but you shouldn’t intentionally hurt them. If anyone has any information on who shot Gary, please contact me. He was shot on Forest Road in Huntsburg. Gary is about 2 years old, neutered and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. He loves everybody and everything, which makes this situation even sadder. He has learned to get around on 3 legs. Beautiful Hailey is a sweet cat that really seems to enjoy and want to be around people. While she can be a little shy at first, with time and patience she will become your best companion. Hailey prefers a calm, quiet environment and a window to watch the wild life outside. Hailey is currently in a foster home and enjoys hanging out with her foster mom while she works from home. Hailey also doesn't mind the dogs or other cats in the foster home though an energetic, playful animal companion may be too much for her. Hailey is definitely a people-person cat once she gets the time to warm up to you. She is happy to just be near her people but also enjoys pets as well.
