Story
This is Adro. We estimate that he is about 1-2 years old, but we don’t know since he was dropped off (we live in the country… unfortunately it happens a lot). He is currently outside, but does get treated for fleas, ticks, and worms. He is fixed and got his rabies shot last fall. He was checked and tested negative for FIV+. He has a kennel with a litter box that he is trained to use. We have had him around other cats and he seems to do well with them, but we have one cat specifically that picks on him and hurts him, so they cannot be together (that is more on the other cat than on him). He is sweet, vocal, very playful, and likes to be petted. He just needs a good home. He would be good as an indoor or indoor/outdoor cat. No adoption fee so long as it is a good home for him. My mom is experiencing some health concerns, so we aren’t able to care for him any longer.

Petey would love to be someone's companion. He really enjoys hanging out in his claw tree, looking outside and watching birds feed. He is a little shy but loves, loves attention and play time.

Story
Twig was stuck in one of our big trees right before the winter storm in December 2025. He was crying and couldn't get down so I went inside and got my climbing gear to get him down. Once we got him inside he ate a ton of wet food and fell asleep in a soft bed. Since then we have gotten him fixed, microchipped and up to date on his shots and now he's ready to start looking for his forever home! He's super cuddly with humans. He's really good with our other cats (even our unfriendly one). He is also good with our (calm and good with cats) dog. We live in a town with a LOT of strays and we've successfully re-homed several cats in the past but Twig is FIV+ which carries a lot of unjustified stigma. It's not a death sentence and most FIV+ indoor cats live normal lives. We would keep him, but we already have 4 cats which is our limit. We also like to keep one slot open for fostering. If you want to adopt Twig you must agree that he'll be an indoor-only cat.
