Story
Name: Breed: Age: Gender: Weight: Good with cats or Small Animals: Good with dogs: Good with Young Children: Good with Older Children: Fenced Yard Required: Crate-Trained: House Trained: Meet Matti – A Quiet Beauty on the Road to Her Best Life Approx. 4 years old | Adoption Fee: $275 Matti came into Animalert’s care in rough shape and needing a little extra help with her litter box habits. Thanks to the dedication of her foster family, she has made wonderful progress and is now thriving in a calm, caring environment. Matti is a sweet and gentle soul who prefers a quiet, predictable home—ideally with someone who is home often and can offer her the steady routine she finds comforting. She can be timid and easily startled, but she’s also affectionate in her own endearing way. Each morning, she gently wakes her foster with soft pats and charmingly grumpy meows, especially when breakfast is near—her favorite time of day. This lovely girl enjoys the simple pleasures in life: sleeping, eating, and a good brushing session (especially right before meals). With her long, beautiful coat, regular brushing is essential to keep her comfortable and mat-free. Matti isn’t too interested in typical cat toys, but she lights up when there’s a bug to chase or a treat to track down. She’s still learning what play means and would benefit from a patient adopter who can help her discover more ways to have fun. Thanks to a structured routine, positive reinforcement, and the use of Cat Attract litter, Matti has recently become litter box efficient. To help her continue this success, adopters should be prepared for a transition period. We recommend an open litter box with low sides, placed on an easy-to-clean floor, with pee pads underneath during the adjustment phase. Matti is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to continue her journey with someone who can offer patience, love, and a peaceful home. Born on February 16, 2025, Emilio is a playful and energetic young guy who will need interactive playtime to keep him happy. He loves zooming around and playing with his foster sister, and will do best with another friendly cat to play with in his new home. Emilio does not really care for the two dogs he currently lives with.  He would do best in a home with no dogs and no young children.  He can be a bit shy when meeting new people or animals, but once he settles in, Emilio reveals his goofy, entertaining side that’s sure to make you smile. He’s fully litter-trained, neutered, and up to date on all his vaccines—ready for his forever home! Burly Boy and his sister Glori were born on September 24th and have already shown what brave little survivors they are. Orphaned at just 10 days old and found in a garden, these two were lovingly hand-fed making them exceptionally social, people-oriented, and trusting. Now healthy, lively kittens, they have received their first vaccines and deworming and are thriving in their foster home. Burly Boy and Glori adore each other—they snuggle, wrestle, chase toys, and curl up together for naps. They’re also little cuddle bugs who love lap time, purring sessions, and gentle affection from their humans. Because they are so bonded, a home together is a must for these darling siblings. Their adoption fee includes their spay and neuter, making them all set for a bright and happy future.
