Story
Pepper is a 3/4 year old neutered male with a playful, curious personality and a big love for toys, snacks, and naps. He enjoys being in the same room as his people and will often nap nearby or sleep with you at night. While hes not a lap cat or big cuddler, he prefers closeness and companionship on his own terms. Pepper is very playful and has a strong prey drive, so interactive toys are a must. He can be play-aggressive, but this is not fear-based or true aggression. He does best with experienced cat people who understand play boundaries and dont use hands as toys. He tolerates being held, loves treat time (food is the fastest way to his heart!), and will happily show affection when snacks are involved. Pepper would thrive in a calm, adult-only or older-teen home with structured play, enrichment, and someone who appreciates an independent but loyal companion. In the right environment, hes a fun, entertaining, and loving little shadow.

Story
Mango is a sweet and lively 3-year-old cat that became part of the family after a neighbor could no longer keep all of their kittens. Hard to resist from the start, Mango quickly showed off her playful personality. She loves cat toys of every kind and will happily entertain herself until she literally falls asleep mid-play. One of her most unique quirks is her love for chasing shadows—she’ll dart, pounce, and stalk them with all the intensity of a tiny hunter. Mango absolutely adores children and is always gentle and affectionate around them. While she is loving and social, she can sometimes be a bit skittish if startled, which only adds to her kitten-like charm. Overall, Mango is a playful and tender-hearted companion who brings joy, laughter, and plenty of adorable moments to everyone around her.

Story
Grace is the sweetest cat. We have had her since she was a kitten, but unfortunately my mother has cat allergies and we are fixing to move in an apartment with my mom so that I can help take care of her so we cant keep grace. She is mostly my husband's cat, but she is very affectionate to both of us. She loves to cuddle and snuggle, and she loves calming treats and or regular treats both. She seems to have food allergies, so the only food her stomach will tolerate is Iams for hairball control or the purina cat. She can rarely eat certain can food do to her digestive system, but her favorite is Mariner catch friskies. We would love for her to have a great home for someone to love her as much as we have. She is litter broken and front declawed. Ideally she needs a home she can roam free and have hiding places because she likes to hide.

Story
Grace is about 12 years old, she is laid-back, mostly quiet, except when she wants food or attention. She is still playful. She is shy at first but once she adjusts and gets used to you and her new surroundings, she is very friendly, loves being petted and loves treats. She is litter box trained.

Story
Duke and Darla are a package deal. They are brother and sister. I fostered them from when they were 4 weeks old. They are very loving and affectionate. Duke is more like a dog than a cat. He will come when you call him and he will fetch a ball when you throw it. They can be high energy. Duke is almost double the size of Darla. He can play rough with her at times which can lead to you distracting him to get his attention off of her. They both love to sleep next to me at night. The reason I am looking to find them a new home is my work travel has increased a lot. I feel they hate when I am gone for days at a time and prefer to be around someone all the time. They grew up with a dog and early on they loved to cuddle up with him. As they have gotten older they are a little more dominant towards him. Darla will give him a paw to the butt sometimes. Many a cat hater has said these two have made them warm up to cats. They were born on 7/31/2023.

Story
Casey has many different sides she can be playful , lazy, just want love , or not want to be around anyone at all in one days time. She is vocal when she is looking for love (wanting pets)! She loves almost all toys and chases about anything that moves. Someone had found a stray that had kittens and we decided to help them out by taking a kitten. Three years later she is still the same . We now have a newborn that is allergic to ;pet dander; and we are having to rehome 3 pets. Unfortunately everyone we know is not interested in an inside cat. She does fine with my 8 year old daughter , 10 , & 14 year old nieces however hides from groups/company and little kids. She loves our mastiff but hasn’t met any other dogs. We already re-homed Mia our other cat and she did not care for her. She has thrived since Mia has left.
