Story
Charlie is an 8 year old mixed breed cat from Greenville Humane Society. She is a very skittish and aloof cat. She loves to hang out in her cat tree and observe what is going on around her. She also loves to sunbathe. When she was adopted, we were told she had lived with both dogs and cats without issue. We have other cats and dogs, but she does not tolerate them well. We were also told she was litter box trained and while she does use the litter box, she also eliminates in multiple places around the house. We have taken her to the vet multiple times and tried different strategies with her litter boxes. With this being said, we think she would do best with an experienced cat owner and most likely as the only pet in a quiet house. Charlie will show affection on her own terms with people she is familiar with. She loves temptations and catnip. We are looking to rehome her to someone who is willing to work with her as we do not think she would do well in a shelter environment.

Story
Milkshake is very caring and affectionate. Her personality is very unique and she would probably make a good buddy for a kid or an adult.   Milkshake will be spayed on June 17. She will be up to date on vaccinations as well. She is ready to go now to a foster-to-adopt situation, in which full ownership will transfer once she ahs been spayed. Her adoption fee is $100 and is paid upfront. In the event she is returned before full adoption then the payment will be refunded.April 21, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
LC is named after our own little sweet cat - Chip. LC is Little Chip because her ear is missing a chip. She's sweet as can be, but she really isn't interested in other animals. It is possible that she could acclimate if she had only 1 or 2 other pets in her home, but there are just too many here. For this reason, we are discounting her to a $25 adoption fee, which is well below the amount invested in her, but we feel she would be much happier somewhere that she can be the only pet or at least without so many others.   She's very loving, and will join me in the bedroom with other cats, where she is fine with them. She likes to play and has the sweetest-sounding meow. She is also tiny, but fat. She also hangs the tip of her tongue out and she is adorable with the pink against her black coat.   She is very affectionate and one of the easiest bathers ever for us. I was very impressed with her calmness under the faucet, especially since she was already several months old when she came to us. She will make a great lap cat for someone.   LC has been spayed and is up to date on shots and comes with a microchip.April 21, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Brooklyn is another sweetie pie that is full of energy. She loves to run around and climb all over the wall ladders and toys. She can play all day long but once night falls she jumps right in the bed and snuggles until she falls asleep.  Brooklyn had to have her spay appointment moved out to November. She can be a foster to adopt if she is adopted locally and will have ownership transferred after spay. She will be up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100.April 21, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Sammy is a shy mama who takes her time before she decides to trust. She's a very sweet cat with the potential to be a great kitty for someone. Sammy has not shown any signs of aggression...she just likes to hide a little bit. She is very receptive to being pet and given food and may not be as shy in a home with less animals.  Since she will likely need some extra patience and love she will be available for a reduced rate of $25 or a donation of your choosing.April 21, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Leroy is a needy boy! He loves to be pet and purr while he sits with his human. If you spend too much time on the phone or computer then Leroy is perfect for you! He will get in between you and all of your electronics, even if you don't want him to do so. He does not believe in enabling technology addictions. Also, don't ever consider sleeping alone again, because this guy needs as much cuddle time as possible with his people. Oh, and he likes to play a lot and can play with toys all by himself, so he is well-behaved without a human home to watch him. He also has a unique-sounding meow that has made his voice stand out when asking for treats...which he loves! Leroy is scheduled to be neutered in May but could go to a home as a foster to adopt, where full ownership would transfer after his neuter is completed and final shots have been received. His adoption fee is $100 and would be due upfront in a foster-to-adopt situation, but in the event the potential adopter does not choose to adopt him after fostering then the fee would be refundable.April 21, 2024, 12:05 am
