Lux is a 14 year old male cat. I adopted him from a family who no longer wanted him on Facebook. He is very sweet and loves attention. I’ve had him for about 5 years and have been taking care of his diabetes for a while now. He loves treats, attention, and talking. I’m hoping to find someone that can afford his vet visits and medications. I am looking for someone who is willing to let him live out the rest of his life in comfort and happiness. He’s a sweet cat but it needs to be someone who knows they can afford his medical expenses.

Meet Peg, a legendary senior matriarch who shares a deep, foundational connection to the very origin of our organization. For years, Peg lived a safe and cherished life in a dedicated foster home with her caretaker, Monica. When Monica sadly passed away, her husband, Brian, stepped in to ensure Peg’s world remained stable, officially adopting her to keep her safe and loved. Following Brian's passing, their daughter, Emily, recognized a sacred calling. Driven by love for her parents and a promise to their memory, Emily founded this cat advocacy organization in her parents' honor. Peg is a resilient, 14-year veteran of the rescue world. She first arrived as a protective stray nursing her single kitten, Tabea. Though her X-rays reveal she carries physical scars from a tough past—including being shot with BBs years ago and dealing with arthritis from an old injury—her spirit remains completely undefeated. Her history of bladder stones is successfully and easily managed with a routine urinary tract diet. She is a living piece of our history, looking for a peaceful retirement home where she can be thoroughly spoiled.
