Story
Jozie came to us as a kitten and is now 6 years old. She has a shorter tail than the average cat which we thought was unique along with being a female orange tabby when they are usually male. We have other cats in the house and she gets bullied since she can be more shy so we are trying to find a better fit.

Story
Peanut is a shy and independent spirit who takes her time warming up to new people. She’s especially cautious around strangers and prefers to keep her distance, often running to the other side of the room when someone approaches. Though she rarely interacts with her foster mom’s 4-year-old granddaughter and tends to run away when approached, Peanut is never aggressive—she doesn’t hiss or swat; she simply chooses to retreat to her safe space. Peanut gets along well with other cats and enjoys sharing a bed or snuggling up with her feline friends. She’s had limited exposure to dogs but shows mild curiosity rather than fear. Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with adults or older children who understand her need for patience and space. Peanut is making slow but steady progress in gaining confidence. She’s starting to realize she doesn’t always need to run away. Sometimes, she’ll stay perched on her cat climber, watching her foster mom curiously instead of immediately darting off. On occasion, she’s even leaned in to sniff a hand and has allowed a gentle pet or two, but these moments are rare and delicate. Peanut needs an adopter who understands that building trust with her will take time, patience, and celebrating the small victories along the way. Peanut is a quiet kitty who loves lounging on comfy beds or climbers. She occasionally enjoys playing with toys, especially her favorite—DaBird feather wand toy. She also looks forward to her daily helping of wet food and patiently waits for her dish to be placed in front of her. If you’re someone who can offer Peanut the patience, understanding, and quiet environment she needs, she’ll reward you by gradually learning to trust and feel safe in her forever home.

Story
Meet Royel! Royel is a sweet and affectionate cat who adores people and loves to cuddle. She’s super affectionate and not easily scared. She’s raised her kittens beautifully and even kept them in line with her adorable chatty trills! She’s definitely a talker, so you’ll always know where she is. Royel enjoys playtime with wands, balls, and even small stuffed pillow toys she can kick. She’s also comfortable being picked up, loves attention, but isn’t overly needy, she’s a great balance of affectionate and independent. She’s met children before and did well with them. She likely would do well with other cats and dogs, too. Royel is FIV positive, which simply means she has a virus that affects her immune system, but it’s easily managed with normal vet care, and a loving home. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and can safely live with other friendly cats who are spayed or neutered. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and talkative kitty who’s ready to bring joy to your home, Royel is your girl!

Story
Mystic is a quiet, reserved girl who just needs time, patience, and the right family to help her blossom. She’s been around kids (but prefers to keep her distance), has coexisted peacefully with a calm dog, and does well with other cats especially confident ones who might help her feel more at ease. Right now, Mystic isn’t a fan of human touch she shies away from pets, but in a quiet and patient home, we believe she’ll warm up with time. And while she may be shy around people, she’s a total goofball when she thinks no one is watching! String toys, ball toys, scratching posts she’s all about the playtime! Food is the key to her heart she’s a little food-motivated (okay, maybe very food-motivated) Mystic would do best in a calm, moderately active home with a patient adopter who understands that love and trust take time. We truly believe that with the right environment, this sweet girl will come out of her shell and become a wonderful companion. Could you be the one to help her shine?

Story
Amy is a sweet girl who may play a little hard to get at first, but don’t let that fool you. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality really shines through. She enjoys playtime, watching the action from a cozy spot, and slowly building trust, and when she does, it’s incredibly rewarding. Amy does well with other cats and dogs and would thrive in a patient, loving home that lets her blossom at her own pace.

Story
Meet Sadie! Sadie is a sweet, affectionate tortie who is great with other cats and loves being around her people. She may take a brief moment to warm up, but once she does, she’s all in, within a day, she’ll want to be by your side as much as possible. Sadie is playful and fun, especially when it comes to springs and pom-pom balls, though just about anything can turn into a good time for her. She has all the classic tortie traits: incredibly loving, delightfully playful, and sprinkled with just the right amount of sass. She’s very much a lap cat and will happily demand affection, so her ideal family is one that enjoys lots of cuddles and can give her the attention she craves. Sadie also does well playing with other cats, making her a great companion for a multi-cat home. With her adorable face and loving personality, Sadie is truly an attention-grabber, and she knows it!
