This handsome boy is full of energy and loves to play - chasing toys (and occasionally bringing them back) is one of his favorite things to do! He is a fast learner, and quickly catching on to Fetch. Sammy already knows how to do a perfect “Sit”, and is learning that sitting nicely is the best way to earn the affection he craves. Although he can be a bit jumpy at times, it’s only because he is so excited to be near you and share his love. And this adorable boy has plenty of love to share! With his playful spirit and eager-to-please personality, Sammy is ready to bring joy and fun to his forever home. Be sure to meet sweet Sammy today, you will be SO glad that you did! Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
