Story
AN ACTIVE & FUN PUP: Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 24 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Casanova! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so happy to be on the journey to my new home with their help. I recently spent time in a great temporary foster home, where I got a glimpse of the great life that awaits me in a home of my very own. Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, however, I am a serious food guarder and should always be fed separately and receive treats away from other dogs. If you have a friendly dog who would enjoy a puppy companion and are comfortable keeping all food and treats separate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown, but remember we must eat and snack separately. / I haven’t met kids yet, so if you have kids that are old enough to understand my food guarding, let’s meet. I am thinking teens and up would be best. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a very active and friendly guy who wiggled and wagged my whole body when I saw my foster – adorable! I’m not shy about registering my opinion about things that bother me and I did find my voice in my temp. foster home, so best no apartment/condo type home. I’m all puppy, I am still exploring the world and use my mouth to discover. The bath sprayer was new to me, and I tried to battle the water by ‘biting’ at it, but not at my bather – just that weird water. I think I’ll get used to it given a few more baths though. Fun and playful, I will bring lots of love and adventure to my new home. / My energy level is 7-9, possibly lower once I settle in, though I’m not sure as I am an active breed dog. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I showed my temp. foster that I am familiar with some commands, so perhaps I will be a quick study. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. Still very much a puppy, I do love to nibble on pants, ankles and shoes. / My crate manners were good in my foster home. / My potty habits are a work in progress, but I am getting the hang of it. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love large rope toys. They are great for tug-o-war and for burning up energy. Once I am all tuckered out, I love a comfy dog bed for recharging my batteries. I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we will enjoy doing together. / Loud voices startle me and make me want to hide and in my temp. foster home, I was afraid of my reflection in the mirror or in windows, but my foster showed me it was all good. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga. January 31, 2026, 9:32 am

Story
Foghorn (Augie at his foster) is a true Southern gentleman&#44 polite and charming. His signature move is to lean against your leg and flash you his baby blues&#44 mesmerizing you into petting him as though its your lifes purpose. This cool drink of sweet tea is a friend to every person he meets and a phenomenal walking partner&#44 graciously adjusting his leggy stride to your pace.

A hound to the core&#44 he loves outdoor adventures full of sniffs&#44 a fine game of retrieve&#44 tracking varmints&#44 and - when he is truly in his feelings - singing the song of his people. His best home will not have shared walls or kitties and will have either a yard or plenty of wooded walks where he can freely express his true self.

You know how introverts will gather in a room but be perfectly content each doing their own thing&#44 together-but-apart? That is Foghorns dream life! He has exceptional dog manners but isnt looking for playmates. Hanging out on the porch greeting the neighbors? Hes down for that. Babysitting the young uns? Not this Papaw.

Housetrained&#44 crate trained&#44 and happy in the car&#44 what more are you looking for?

Story
This is Mia! I rescued Mia from Newton County Animal Shelter where she was surrendered with her siblings. She just recently turned 1 in November. Mia is an absolute sweetheart with no mean bone in her body! She absolutely loves to be with other dogs and has the energy to play all day! Unfortunately, I have had to come to the incredibly tough decision to rehome her due to my new busy 60+ hour work schedule. Mia is part Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pitbull Terrier, meaning she is a very high drive energy dog! Mia would thrive being in a home where her owners are able to provide her a proper enriching environment for her high energy needs. Mia is shy with people at first, but warms up shortly after to show you her goofy silly self! Please message me if you are interested in having sweet Mia join your family!

Story
Beau is a sweet 7 year old dog that loves people. He always wants to be wherever you are. He is a playful dog who also likes to snuggle with you and nap. We adopted him before we had kids, and now that we have four kids we just do not have the time to give him the attention he needs. He has some separation anxiety. We have given him Prozac with some improvement, but he just needs more love and attention. He is a really sweet boy that gets along well with other dogs but is nervous around children. He absolutely loves adults and is happy to go on walks, chase tennis balls or just run around a big yard. We hate to rehome him, but we believe it is the best decision for him.
