Story
Hi! My name is Marie and I am looking for a forever home! I need to be the only dog in the house since I don't get along with other animals. I also need a little bit of training too. It may take some time to build a connection with you, but once I do I become your very best friend! I'm a big girl so I would love a huge back yard to run around in. I love treats and I love to play! My favorite types of toys are anything that squeaks. Fetch and tag are also some of my favorite games to play with you! I am a sweet girl but I do get scared sometimes. I love belly rubs and I love to swim!

She's a people person who loves doggy friends, too - but don't tell the other dogs! She's food motivated and treat-driven, so she's easy to train. Gala is a happy, outgoing girl who would be a great addition to your family. She's a strong and healthy girl with lots of love to give. If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and furry companion, Gala is the girl for you!

Story
Introducing this handsome little boy named Rain. Rain was hoping to spend the rest of his life with his family that he loved but his owner had too many pups and so Rain drew the short straw and came to the shelter on 5/31. Now, he is looking for a stable home that can provide for him and never turn their back on him. He is precious and adorable as he can be. He is very cute, sweet, calm, obedient and attentive and enjoys playing with his toys while he patiently waits for his new home. He is a smart baby as he knows how to sit all by himself and that is is so awesome! He may know more and would be the perfect student if someone would take the time to teach him. Please come see this little prince soon and get to know him more. He really deserves a second chance at a happy life with lots of love and commitment. Rain is just a year old and weighs about 41lbs. He's current on vaccines, he is neutered and microchipped already. He will be heartworm tested upon his adoption. He will be waiting for you to save his life in Run 800. His ID is 658173. Please help him have his forever home!! Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. Story
Marie is a real go-getter.  She loves an active life, she loves the water and would like a family who can help her get out her energy and share her zest for life.   She is a little cautious with new people but warms up quickly.  We say she's better with older kids because she is bigger and high energy. She does need to be an only pet. Age: 2 years  Weight: approx 60 lbs   Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative   Temperament: not good with other dogs or cats, initially cautious with new people, best with older kids.  Training: House trained, crate trained, some well trained.  Contact email:  Sheltersxshelvesrescue@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded, and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself June 17, 2024, 7:10 am
