She came in to the shelter with litter mates who have recently been adopted, so now it’s her turn! She is smaller than her siblings, and will likely remain at a small-medium size of around 30 pounds. But this little pup has such a big heart, along with the cutest ears and engaging personality that is sure to entertain! Spell always enjoyed playtime with her brothers, and is absolutely adorable as she chases toys. She also shows signs of being a quick learner, and has picked up good leash manners and does a proper Sit on command. Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
